My Favourite Games


I know this is a pretty basic kind of list but it's my first one so... I guess there is that

  • Ok, I know that Tidus is a whiny bitch for half the game but read me out. If you're one of the few that have bothered to look at all of the games on this list you'll notice a recurring theme: They all have great stories. Not only was this the first FF I played, but it was also the first story driven game that I ever Played. So I guess that you could summarise my reason as 'nostalgia.'

  • The Characters in Mass Effect 2 are great, but they pale in comparison with this gem. The Gameplay is a bit flawed but that story was amazo. I also love The Nameless One's (Protagonist) answer to the question that follows him throughout the whole game; "What can change the nature of a man?"

  • The Characters in this game are so interesting (exept Tali) and Bioware fixed the gameplay problems and technical issues that plagued the first one.

  • The Combat is so simple but brilliant and the mostly light heartedness of the story is a refreshing change to all the melodrama that is in most JRPG's.

  • Three words. "Would you kindly?"

  • This episode didn't suffer from the unbelievably slow pace of the Half-Life 2 and Episode One (not that I don't like those games). Plus it had that ending. HURRY UP EPISODE 3!!

  • The Puzzles are great but I won't lie, it wouldn't be on this list without Glados.

  • Mind bending puzzles packaged with an unbeleivable art style. Shows what indie games can do.

  • Way ahead of it's time. Awesome Story and Gameplay and a TON of replay value.

  • Well, the first third of it anyway. This is a great story about a man caught in extrodinary circumstances. I loved it until it decided to go all super-natural on my ass. oh well.

  • I was going to make this a Top ten but I couldn't leave out the only game to date that has genuinly been able to scare the living shit out of me and yes, I have played all the rsident evil's and silent hill's.
