This is a shit show on both sites. It's amazing that two sides of a dispute can both be equally wrong. On one side Blizzard arguing that the EULA grants ownership of all properties, which evil, on the other side Value trying to copyright a fan made property that they have no legitimate right to, which is insidious.
It's sad to see two companies so beloved by their fans get into a mud fight like this.
All these games I spent time tracking down for the PS2 are getting HD rereleases. I'm personally disappointed that Konami isn't going the extra mile and included 4 & 1 in this package, at the very least 1's inclusion would represent the entire trilogy.
I'm also disappointed that in this game preservation of a classic games requires the little guys to take one for the team rather then having the large corporation share some of the profits with the actors whose "talents" helped make the game what it was in the first place. One that note, I wonder if the original designers, artists and programmers see any money for these rereleases.
Oh and on a completely unrelated I'm also disappointed that the Ajax loading of the comment pages refreshes the add comment box, losing whatever you typed in it.
" Epic Mickey seems like a horrible name for this game. "
Gotta agree with you. While horrible may be too strong a word, I really can't believe that "Epic Mikey" lasted beyond just being a code name for the project.
