Story and atmosphere/world is a lot more important to me than gameplay and graphics. If the game has a good story and looks cool I don’t care what the gameplay is like.
Games that are only about the gameplay and/or getting points have no interest to me (except Tetris effect in VR, but I’m only there for the music and experience in itself and not so much for the tetris)
Man, I was just replaying the first 3 seasons of TWD so I could start the last season with all my choices. This is a real bummer. I've bought everything Telltale has ever made (except Minecraft). I even have a folder on the PS4 that is called Telltale....
I really enjoyed Yakuza 6 up until a certain story moment. Every choice Haruka makes in this game just bums me the hell out. After that point I rushed through the rest of the game hoping for something else to happen.. Yakuza has always been the story of Kiryu and Haruka to me and knowing where it ends up makes not want to play the older games again either. Except for 0 I guess.
Prey. I was kinda enjoying it for a few hours but I didn't like the zero g tunnel at all. Then I walked into a room with a lot of enemies, managed to beat them after a while but spent all of my ammo and resources, walked into the next room and met the same amount of enemies. Looking all over for scrap so I could make a few bullets wasn't appealing to me so I just quit the game and haven't been back. I also played Andromeda but I enjoyed that more.
A couple of friends who doesn't play much PC games asked me what's popular nowadays. I bought PUBG and we played a few rounds. I haven't touched it since. I'm not much for multiplayer.
