One of the best games ive played in a long time 0

When I first bought Soul Reaver 2 I was worried because it didn’t come with a manual. Because I got it used from Game Stop they didn’t seem to have a manual with the game. I would have more than happily played full price for this game but because it’s old I’m not sure how I would get my hands on it new. And all of my experiences with the Legacy of Kain games before had taught me that I was going to need that manual. However Soul Reaver 2 is a much better game.  Like any modern game it teaches y...

One more down 3 more to go 0

When I first started up The Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver I was more than happy to see where this franchise was going. I was well aware that Silicon Knights didn’t make the next game. But Chrystal Dynamic wanted to make sure I knew. One of the first screens in the game tells you clearly in white on black text that Blood Omen was made by Silicon Knights and that Soul Reaver is made by Chrystal Dynamic. One major thing they improved on was there were as little loads as possible. Bes...

Blood Omen Review 2

I recently took a look back on video games and realized there was a franchise that I hardly ever played. Kept for the few times that I played Soul Reaver at my friend’s house I never played the games before. I always thought that Raziel was a great looking character and that the game had a great style. I picked up Defiance a few years ago and was over whelmed with characters and fiction I was un-familiar with. So I decided to start from the very beginning and write a full review for each game. ...

Wait what!? this game is coming out on the PS3? Crap! 0

No More Heroes did so many things right and yet got some major things wrong. Well not really, more like one major thing wrong. The game doesn’t need to be a open world sandbox game. It takes too long to move from point A to B just to drive back to where you were.   The game will really remind you of GTA San Andreas. Driving around and buying clothes between missions. And working out to improve your stats. However unlike the GTA series you can’t hurt pedestrians or take their vehicles. So you ar...

Dante is a Sell Out 0

I Went into Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne with high hopes of a good RPG. Also very curious why Dante from the Devil May Cry series was in this game. I played a few Shin Megami Tensei games before. Including Persona 4, Persona 3 and whatever that MMO one was. And so I was very sad to see that it had the creepy art style that was popular in the older Shin Megami Tensei games. Characters having oddly shaped anime eyes. With eye liner and their awkward stare and dull eyes. I was fully aware that per...

Blaz Thumbs 0

Blaz Blue: Calamity Trigger is a very serious game that isn’t afraid to beat you into the ground with its hard difficultly. And yet at the same time it seems to not take itself very seriously when it gets into the story using a lot of self aware humor. If I had to describe it. I would say it was Devil May Cry meets Final Fantasy as an arcade fighter.   The game gets rather hard however.   It seems to keep a good difficulty for most of the game. That is until you have to fight any bosses. And th...
