As a complete SF noob as well I've got to say I am LOVING this game. I know what the OP is saying about moves not coming off etc, but I've just been trying to focus on 1 character's moves and getting the most out of that (blanka). Once I feel like i've nailed his moves i'll move. Haven't played SF for years and years but already have 1000+ BP - it's just about practice, practice, practice. LOVE IT!
I have a feeling this year is going to be relatively quiet for one reason or another (financial meltdown etc etc etc).
Having said that, I am excited to play Killzone 2 - I think that game looks rad. Resi Evil 5 looks like a no-brainer but might not be the huge step forward i'd have hoped for. As much as I could be mocked for it, I am really looking forward to ODST - I love the Halo universe and more of the same is always awesome.
Fallout 3 was my game of the year so the DLC Bethesda have planned for that has got me really excited. I've played through it a couple of times now so some new content will keep in installed on my pathetic 20gb 360!
I feel bad for Gamespot a little bit. It used to be in my reading roster and on my podcast roster - now - all gone. It's a real shame, was one of the few sites out there with a really good community feel.
