The best game of the year and one of the best of the decade, no discussion necessary. The best (so far) blend of responsive and satisfying shooting, ability use and management, universe creation complete with intricate storyline, and all the typical RPG trappings minus the boredom and frustration. Simply Perfect. Yes, even the mining mini-game you cynical fucks.

THE sleeper title of the year, since it seems like it came and went so fast no one had time to dig deep in all the multiplayer modes, which is like a whole game unto itself between Hunter, Last Stand, and Co-op Story Mode.

Manly tears were shed that day...and many co-op shenanigans were had as well. The Western genre finally gets it's "great game."

A 2009 game in 2010's best of? Fuck yeah it is. Borderlands exceptional 2010 lineup of DLC essentially added a whole additional game's worth of content to an already gigantic game. This is the future of co-op anything.

It's a beat-em-up. It has an amazing soundtrack. It has a great fighting engine. It's gorgeous to look at. It's fun as fuck. It has an rpg-very-lite leveling system. It hits all the nostalgia buttons and exemplifies how $10 dollar gaming can challenge the big boxed games for sheer fun and joyful moments per minute played.

Yeah, I know. But dude, you can craft guns (almost) and it's silly fun, especially terrific in co-op mode.
