Blog #00 - An Introduction

Right, where to start. I began visiting Giantbomb around late 2009. I was aware that the website exsited before that time but I never really bothered to view it. That all changed when I was looking at iTunes and decided to start listening to the Game of the year bombcast. I was bored that night and figured if I listened for about 10 minutes and got tired I could just turn it off. However, I immediately fell in love with it. The next day I hopped on the website and watched as many videos as I could. I coudn't believe how much time and effort the guys seemed to to into everything they did. For example, I still chuckle whenever I watch that 2human video. Like with Giantbomb, I love all the other websites produced by Whiskey Media and would call myself a avid fan of them all. I especally love Screened.com and their fantastic half-good segments (but I think I have to really seeing as I study Film). I'm not really sure why it took me so long to sign up to this crazy website, but it just seemed right to do it, especially when the Big Live Live show was being prepared and the lovely Giantbomb community was getting excited about it.
For this next part I figured that instead of writing twenty paragraphs about my life, i'd just put some interesting tidbits in a list format:
- I'm British (Guess you could tell by me using the word tidbit in last sentence).
- While I am indeed British I did spend a few years over in America. Here's the proof "yeehaw, I'm jogging on a sidewalk". Think that proves it. (Sorry about that, I really do love America),
- I took a Gap year out after I did my A-levels and I'm now about to start studying Film and video production, bummer for any of you kids wanting to study at a Uni next year.
- I like pina coladas but not getting caught in the rain
- I enjoy many sorts of games but I probably enjoy Rpg's and simulators the most.
- That note before the last one was absolutely terrible and I apologise for it.
- I enjoy using photoshop but know almost nothing about it, only the very basics. If you see anything I make which is just extremely ghastly, just humor me and say it's just a little bit shit and not that it's massively shit.
Well, I think that just about covers it. Thank you for reading my little blog and giving a few minutes of your time to know a little bit about about me. I really appreciate it.
I know that this is a wonderful community, and I promise you I won't be annoying. As a little gift for reading all this/skipping the boring bit of text (and honestly I can't really blame you), here is a picture of the tested team in "Citizen Kane".
Cheers,
