I get the following in the HD RSS All Videos feed:

Steal My Sunshine - Episode 03

Why have one button for punching grates when you could have two??

<itunes:subtitle>Why have one button for punching grates when you could have two??</itunes:subtitle>

<itunes:duration>02:20:59</itunes:duration>

<itunes:explicit>no</itunes:explicit>

I've edited my API key out of the enclose url attribute.

The entry in the SD feed looks correct.

I'm now getting prompted for my user+password. I've been successfully using the feed URL with the API key pretty much the whole time; haven't made any changes on my end.

Using Miro, if that's relevant.

@jetlag: I had the same thing happen too. In my case the client I'm using (Miro) makes 3 requests for each video; although I can't see my API limits on http://www.giantbomb.com/api/ currently.

@edgework: Any chance we could get an RSS feed which excludes trailers? I never watch them, but the only way for me to avoid them is to subscribe to 16 separate feeds. Also would it be possible to exclude HEAD requests from the API limit?

@edgework: Thanks. Sorry I didn't catch the limit thing.

I figured the video/403 choice was for something like that.

Edit: wait, how did I hit the 20 video limit?

2nd Edit: Ok it just hit midnight in San Fran and my API limit reset so I manually kicked off the Vive Pt 1 video again (in Miro) and the http://www.giantbomb.com/api/ page says "You have downloaded 3 videos out of your 20 per day limit"

3rd Edit: Alrighty, I busted out Wireshark to see what was going on. It looks like Miro makes two HEAD requests followed by the actual GET. My guess is it calls HEAD when it queues the video for download and then calls HEAD again immediately before it actually starts the download. That'd be how I hit the limit with 7 videos in one day.

@edgework Any chance we can get HEAD requests excluded from the API limit?

I'm still getting intermittent issues. My Video RSS client is Miro which is subscribed to http://www.giantbomb.com/videos/feed/hd/?api_key=${myapikey}

Most videos have been working for the last few days, but the 100ft robot golf, and the Scott Manley BEAST keep giving me the error video today (incidentally could you change this to return a 403 or similar instead of a video).

The same URL that Miro is downloading from works in Firefox while logged in, but when not logged in, or from curl or Miro I get the error video.

I had the HTC Vive Pt 1 video downloaded successfully, so to test I deleted that video and re-downloaded it in Miro, and now I get the error video.

It looks like the API key doesn't work consistently.
