Additional tip: Destroying robots and turrets is OK for Pacifist, but keep in mind that the robots explode if you EMP them - and if the Robot's explosion kills someone, it's on your head. Really good to know at a certain place in the game (no spoilers!), if you decide to take the difficult route despite being a Pacifist ;)
This precise spoiler-free certain place is where I was forced to give up pacifism. I didn't have any EMP for the robot, and I was adamant that the situation should turn out in a specific way. Made me mad enough to kill, so I loaded up the diamondback and damned them all to hell. Dropped down a hard save first in case i ever feel like going back to try it the peaceful way.
Depends on your palate. A good thing to start with are the "girly drinks" if you don't mind sweet things. hard lemonade or cider is a decent way to start, as are most mixed drinks mentioned above, like Jack and Coke, or my own personal favorite - Kentucky Bonesaw- (Dr. Pepper and bourbon). Another good drink that's a little heartier is Irish Creme and chocolate milk.
from there, you can see if you enjoy things beer, whiskey on the rocks, or work your way into wines. Try anything at least twice, preferably at least three months between each try. A lot of that stuff is acquired taste, and most of it tastes better at certain times.
@kerse: The only part I thought was really Meh was the bit where Yasha messes up some Ghoma. I quite liked the flashback fight with the perpetual falling and just the inelegant end to that "Splat"
Finished the DLC for asura's Wrath, "Nirvana." and

Not only did this surpass my expectations in scale, but it amounted to a final boss fight that is among the most visually beautiful I've ever seen. The effects in event horizon made my jaw drop, and the fight itself was amazing. That second set of commands caused my mind to do a segfault but then

That ENDING story bit! The still paintings and the narrative along with that! I couldn't believe what I saw. Guys. How can I deal with a brain this full of WHAT IS VIDEO GAME?
@patrickklepek: For me, about the time that you start sorting through the city library was where I said to myself "Okay, you know... this feels like some pretty good Japanese survival horror gameplay."
There are some nods in downpour to previous silent hills, so if you're into that I guess I'd recommend doing that one last. It has some interesting subplot ideas and the better visuals make it one of the most visually striking in the series, and also some of the best enemies.
3 should be played after 1 if you care about continuity like that.
Homecoming can be done whenever; It's kind of its own little retarded beast. The console version of it is merely silent-hill levels of buggy, but the PC port is Busted. Don't play the PC port, boys and girls.
