You're complaining about a necessity portrayed in a video game where the characters needed it most.  Considering that most people I've met don't really notice it, it's not that the game is overtly patriotic, its that you are overtly anti-patriotism. Which is fine, but your complaints are better spent on something other than the contexts in which Call Of Duty presents patriotism.
