@Red12b: if you need a bit more proof you can tell there's only that new groovy side fan on one side, because if you lay it down that side will be facing up, and the other facing down! :)

You don't hold the equipment button whilst jet-packing, sprinting ect. you only tap to activate and tap to deactivate. So its not as bad as its seems, but yeh games nowadays really should allow for custom control options. "
Ah, ok, well that serves me right for assuming doesn't it... :( I figured you would hold it, as to me that makes more sense, I can't imagine jet packing where i have to keep tapping the button to feather my landings and stuff, i had always just assumed you could pulse the button! That's gonna be weird for me i think... Do you have the beta? Can you or somebody else that reads this confirm whether if you hold the button to activate it stops when you let go? And i'm not saying i don't believe you, i swear, in some games you can tap to activate and tap to deactivate, or just hold and release to activate and deactivate stuff. I'm really trying to think of an example, cos i know i'm not mad!

@andy: yup, tried both and on all three quality settings. and i've taken everything off my proxies now, and it still doesn't work.
i'm on my University connection, but i've had no trouble getting to watch any video or visit any website ever.
Do you have any idea at all what could be causing the play button to just not do anything? What's the most confusing is that i had it working, and now it just doesn't.
