I'm not sure yet. 360 has points and i'll be able to play with my friends. But PS3 comes with Extraction which could be cool. PC looks better and it would be cheaper. Fuck it's hard to decide.

Edit: I'll go with 360, that's what all my friends play on and it's usually my platform of choice.

You're right they haven't all played the same games, that's why they have their personal lists. I just like listening to them talk about games, I could not give a fuck about the awards or how they do them. I just like listening to the GB staff talk about their favorite games and why they liked them. I really don't think Giant Bomb needs to have really strict, "professional" rules for awards. It's not like the awards are actually worth anything anyway, there's really no point to it at all except to put up more kick-ass podcasts. Lastly, the podcasts are them actually figuring out the nominees and categories.  So if they did a bunch of preparations like you suggested then the podcasts would be way shorter, thus we would have less content. I think that the discussions are great and they would not benefit from being more boring and strict like you suggested.

Electrical outlets? Really? Talk about picking something apart. I have no idea what your talking about. I don't remember any paranormal stuff, maybe I just don't recall. The whole game made perfect sense to me.

I haven't finished Enslaved yet but so far the story is great, really good voice acting. I'm pretty excited to see what Skyrim will be, it's not on the list because they haven't really shown anything.

Thanks for reading guys.

Goodbye 2010, hello 2011.
I've decided to write up a little something about some of my favorite games this year and the games I'm most excited for in 2011.

2010

Best Looking Game:

Enslaved: Odyssey to the West

I love the bright blues in the sky and vibrant greens in the vegetation.

The water looks great too. Check out the destroyed city in the background.

I really love the way bright greens and blues are used in contrast with the rusty oranges and metal colors.

Best Soundtrack:

Super Meat Boy

Just have a listen for yourselves.

  Fucking great eh?

Best Story

Red Dead Redemption

No Caption Provided

It's a classic wild west gunslinger story through and through. Rockstar always does a great job with their characters and this is no exception. John Marston is a really likable protagonist and it's a blast to be him.

I was really close to putting Mass Effect 2 here instead but I think that Red Dead had a more complete, and more satisfying story.

Game that left me most pumped for the sequel

Mass Effect 2

Shit is gonna go down!

Biggest Disappointment

Fable 3

Grrrrrrrr. I was really bummed by the ending. The last boss was a fucking embarrassment and the king mechanics were handled terribly. It fucking sucked so bad and it started out pretty good. It's a shame.

Fable 3 also gets the award for "Most Irritating". I don't want to buy that fucking dog outfit so stop asking me everytime I go to the start menu.

Most stuff to do

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

No Caption Provided

So many icons! There's a metric fuck ton of stuff to do in this game, not to mention ze multi-player.

Well, that's just about all the categories that I can think of right now. i didn't really want to get into stuff like "best action game" or "best male performance". There are other places for that. What are some of your favorite games of 2010? Or least favorite? Or just weirdest? I'll update this later if I think of any good stuff to add. You can check out my top 10 list too if you give a shit.

 Now, onward to 2011!

Here are the games that I can't wait to play next year.

          5.  Dead Space 2

I'm totally ready to jump back into Issac's space suit and shoot off some more limbs.

          4.  Uncharted 3

Uncharted 2 was my favorite game of 2009, maybe even of this generation so naturally I can't wait for more Uncharted. When I heard it was going to be in the desert and have more co-op modes I was pumped. I can't wait to play this.

          3. Portal 2

I really liked Portal. More of that fun puzzle solving with new mult-player modes too. I'm really excited.

          2.  Spec Ops: The Line

It's set in Dubai which is awesome and I love games that give me choices and make me think about my actions. Can't wait to see how this one turns out.

          1. L.A. Noire

I'm a huge Rockstar fan. They have been made some of my favorite games ever like Red Dead and GTA4 and I can't wait to see what they do with the 1940's.

What games are you duders most looking foward to?

Thanks for reading, Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year.

You forgot the SOTC and ICO bundle thing. I want that and Uncharted 3. If Infamous 2 does come out next year I'll pick it up. Xbox has Gears 3 though which will be awesome and probably sell as many copies as those 3 games I just listed combined.

@Raven_Sword: They used it for 70 minutes? That's not good at all. I used it for about an hour too, then I uninstalled it because it's garbage.

Your welcome. Good luck with the basketball and Yoga. I've heard good things about Yoga, never tried it though maybe I'll give it a whirl someday. As for Kinect I think it's wise to wait for a little while. I'm hoping Kinect will get better over the next year, I find the hardware to be great, the software is whats holding it back.

There are other ways to be fit besides working-out. You should try different things like sports or maybe getting out in nature. I personally don't really like sports all that much, but I do leave in an area surrounded by hills and forest so I can go on great hikes or snow-shoe journeys whenever. We've been getting less snow this year (only about 50-60cm on on my lawn right now and the roads are completely clear) so I haven't gotten out yet.
