@snide : I was just wondering if there could be some clarification as to the membership across all sites. Will I now have to pay for premium content on Tested and Screened seperate from GB and Comic Vine, or will they continue to be linked?
Also, pardon if this was asked already, but I just recently had my membership renewed, and I was wondering if that meant that I would be eligible for the Gamespot membership as well, or if it only applied to new subscribers/ subscribers who renew past the 15th?
I could not back this any harder if I tried! (I know the potential for a joke there, but I'm trying to keep it classy). However, I am curious to see how well Taylor works without Neveldine. I don't know how this works, but perhaps he could just bring him in on the project as something outside of co-director (perhaps as cinematographer).
Also, tossing in a left field casting choice here, but how about Mick Foley as Sweet Tooth?
I don't think anyone is disagreeing with you. I think it's safe to say that all of us watch it for the exact same reason you did. However, we want to see MORE of the developers get love and resepct. As it stood, about five or six developers got love, and as for respect, I think being threatened with a dude putting his junk in your face shows a clear lack of respect for the developers, and that's something we don't want more of.
I don't think you have to worry or feel threatened about liking the VGA's. If you like it, that your thing, and that's nothing to be ashamed of. And from what I can tell, you liked it for all the right reasons, so again, nothing to be mad about.
I'm digging it. And from what I can tell, I don't think they're really zombies. More mutants or monsters with human clothing than zombies. That Naughty Dog is making it is only more of a plus.
I think there was a point about two hours into the show where, before they were going to break for commercial, where they had a little montage that said "Kraft would like to salute all of the winners for making tonight possible" or something along those lines, and in that montage, they showed the guys from Rocksteady, Miyamoto, and The IW/ Sledgehammer crew. I think that was the absolute BEST summation of how important the developers were to the VGA's overall. Two hours in, and they only had about three developers up until that point.
How is it that the Oscars or Grammy's or other award shows can devote the majority of their time to the actual award recipients, and the VGA's cant?
