These are awesome!

You guys obviously spend a lot of time thinking about how to monetise and cut-costs without pissing off users - these latest changes seem really quite unobtrusive and reasonably friendly.

It's easy to see how some of the bigger sites end up having interstitials, popup flash ads, etc. when it's clearly difficult to keep the money flowing for sites like this.

Anyway, sounds like this push for mirroring content on YouTube will be good for us Xbox users when the new dashboard update comes out too.

Bought it in the Indie sale the other day - not played much yet but enjoyed it when I have. Username is ttGB.

Here we see Mr. Kotick, grinning at the promise of obscene wealth after using the axe slung carelessly over his shoulder to cleave the heads of insubordinate business partners.

What a rockstar.

What's the grind like on it?  God I hate grinding.
From what I've played so far (not much to be honest) - there's very little grind, levelling is a natural progression as it takes you through the various story chapters (a bunch of quests basically), as long as you get a good balance of PvE and RvR anyway (you do get a lot of experience from RvR).
As for gear, you get it pretty naturally through your 'renown' (RvR level), and through doing PQs, there's no real sense of 'must keep doing this to get this', although I suppose you could approach it that way.

Been playing it this week and I'm really enjoying it too - sure, it's another MMO, and it uses a lot of ideas used in MMO's in the past, but it also goes out of its way to get rid of things that have been plaguing MMOs for years, and adding new stuff which just makes you think; "Why didn't everyone else think of that?" - it also feels a lot more casual than something like WoW - you can just pop on, do a public quest or scenario and log off and you've still made/got some 'gear'.

I'm definitely excited for how it turns out!

Awesome! Do you have that wall/luchadeer image at a higher resolution? Could do with making myself a dual screen version.

Happy birthday! Can I have your Xbox? You don't want it. Honestly.
