I would love a Bayonetta sequel. But other than that, the originality of Platinum Games really makes me want to see new IPs. I just like seeing them pulling completely new and interesting game universes out of their ass, and they don't seem to be running out of ideas.

" It seems today zombies are all the rage. I've seen so many zombie games over the years it's ridiculous. From Dead Rising to "Zombie Apocalypse" zombies seem to be everywhere. But, it's weird. Because not all zombie games are the same, heck not even all zombies are the same. In Dead Rising the zombies are slow moving, but in games like Left 4 Dead they all seem to run like a normal person would. You also have the difference in what type of zombies they are, are they infected with a virus? Or are they undead? It all adds up to different gameplay experiences, but not many zombie games have a deep story as to where the virus came from, and who started it all; except maybe Resident Evil. But what most zombie games have in common, other than the fact that you're fighting zombies, is that most are co-op games. Dead Rising is probably one of the few non co-op zombie franchises. Even Resident Evil had to have co-op, because it's all the rage now-a-days.  I'm surprised Dead Rising 2 wasn't announced to have co-op either, but hey, it's not out yet, you never know. It does make you think though, why so many people like games with zombies in them. They sell like hotcakes, whether they're good or not. One of the number one games on the App Store is "Zombieville USA", and even indie games like "Killing Floor" sold tremendously well on Steam. Why do people like zombies so much? I guess developers don't really care why, they do know that people like zombie games though, why else would they put "Nazi Zombies" in a Call of Duty game, heck they've probably sold more copies because of the mini-game rather than the multiplayer itself. It seems like with this pack they've added actual characters, not just nameless soldiers fighting off zombies. It seems people like that though, just playing as average joes fighting off zombies. Left 4 Dead had that with they're characters, and it seems like other games like Dead Rising and "Zombie Apocalypse" have it too. Maybe people like it so much, because they can relate to it more. Not many people can relate to War games, and nobody can relate to wacky Japanese demon wielding future games. A zombie outbreak seems like one of the more "Sci-fi" esque scenarios that could happen. A super cancer spreading around seems more plausable then aliens attacking the earth, Halo Style. I think people like the zombie games where you play as "Joe Shmoe" better than games where you play as Chris Redfield. Joe Shmoe zombie games also have wacky weapons like Baseball bats, Lawnmowers, Frying pans, molotov cocktails and other homemade infected killing devices. Not many people can relate to macho man Chris with an AK-47. And I think because zombie games are so relatable is how they sold so well. Try getting all of your friends to play Phantasy Star Online with you, it's not going to happen. Some might say "I hate anime" or "I hate Sci-fi games". Then try and get them to play Left 4 Dead, what can they hate about that? I hate modern games? I hate shooting the brainless undead? Nobody hates that. Plus, like I said before, it's co-op. Playing with your friends is the most fun you can have in a video games, sure, the game's story might not win a Pulitzer, but that would just ruin the fun if you had giant cutscenes. And I think that's why Resident Evil was never co-op until recently, because of it's story. They wanted to make a good, story driven game. If you had your friends screaming in your ear the entire time, it might not be as fun. I think what Treyarch has done with the zombie mode in CoD:WaW is great and they've actually made something good. I think instead of CoD:5, we could probably expect something along the lines of "Nazi Zombie: Full Outbreak". Although, I'm not sure why they added teleporting exploding dogs. That really doesn't make much sense. So, after all that I leave you with this question: Why do Seagulls live by the sea? "
i don't think that's gonna help you win, bud.
