Steam. I don't have to leave my house, I don't have to line up, and they don't sell out of copies.

You know, I have been avoiding these videos, but since I'm going to watch Kasavin play tomorrow anyway, I might as well dig in. I'll probably give this a look when I get off work. Spoilers generally don't bother me very much anyway, unless its something huge. My old lit professor used to spoil the books we read before he assigned them so that we would read them more critically.

i'm designing a Skyrim mod that makes it like Dark Souls, when you die you lose all your gold and respawn at the last inn you visited..... it's all on paper at the moment though....

Awesome. Please post a link on the forum if/when you actually complete this mod.

Yeah, I would totally play that too.

I generally can't play one game at a time anyway. If you've got a bunch of free time, go for it.

I don't typically play magic focused characters in TES games, but I am going to level destruction in skyrim for the sole purpose of wasting these monstrosities with copious amounts of fire.

Yeah, I'm totally arachnophobic. I'll be fine as long as I don't look at the eyes. Fuckin creepy spider eyes are the worst.

I usually download steam games around 2.5 mb/s. Skyrim is now preloading around 300 kb/s. Holy fuck. This is going to take forever.

Janky animations? In a TES game? You don't say.

Sometimes TES games will make you work a little harder than normal to suspend disbelief and stay connected to the world, but the experience has always been worth the hassle. Look at Morrowind. That game DEFINED jank, yet many people look back at it as one of their favorites.

There's not really anything spoilery in these trees. It's pretty basic stuff.

@allworkandlowpay: I am aware that there are no universal truths in gaming, and also that these people are paid for their opinions. I was just pointing out that impressions concerning the shooting mechanic are all over the place, thus making it difficult to get an idea of it's general quality.
