Saw the movie a second time to confirm this theory.  I shared this on Screened but I feel its pertinent here as well.  Here is the simplest answer to the ending confusion:

Throughout the entire film, Dom Cobb is wearing a wedding band whenever he is in a dream, and is not wearing one whenever he is in the "real world" present.

He is not wearing a wedding band in the final scene.

If your primary concern is whether or not you will be able to grasp the battle system, then worry not.  They hold your hand and ease you into it far more than they actually should.  As complex as the system can get later on, they definitely take their sweet time making sure you understand EVERYTHING about the battle system before they add another layer to it.

I love how polarizing people's opinions on LOST are.  Its either extreme loathing or blissful praise.  Personally I love the show, its basically the only show on television that requires the viewer to put more into the experience than an ass in a seat.  I love the Bombcast, but like others have said, there is simply no replacement for LOST.

Definitely LOST.  Like Meowayne said though, give it a good 4 episodes before you give it up.  The show is absolutely brilliant, but its more methodical pace (especially early on) isn't for everyone.

@Linkyshinks:  He is talking about the stars you get for completing objectives in the game.  Getting all 5 stars requires beating every level, finding all the secrets, etc....

OK, all of this metacritic bashing is getting out of hand.

First off, it is not metacritic's fault that some publishers choose to use metacritic as a means of withholding or awarding a pay bonus.  The Publishers themselves are the ones guilty of choosing to participate in such an outlandish practice.

Like any powerful tool, metacritic can be used for good or for bad.  I love the fact that I can go to metacritic, click on any game or movie or album, and get a compiled list of reviewers as well as links to the websites they are taken from.  On top of that, the number they compile from multiple reviews serves as a GENERAL IDEA of what the critic's consensus is on a work.  I got news for you, a videogame that gets a 20, is probably much worse than one that gets a 90.  But who knows, maybe I will like the game that scores a 20 more.  IT'S AN OPINION. See how that works?

The problem arises when morons try to claim that metacritic is the final, objective word on the quality of a product.  Guess what?  ITS NOT!  Bitching and whining about how evil metacritic is gets you nowhere.  In fact, if you are one of those people claiming that metacritic should alter how they interpret reviewers scores, you are part of the problem.  If you are that nitpicky about whether 4 stars translates into an 80 or a 90, than you yourself are giving to much credit to the critic's themselves.  WHO FUCKING CARES?  YOU should be the final verdict on whether or not you like a game, not some random stranger.

If reviewer's truly think that metacritic is bastardizing their review scores, then they can request to have them removed from metacritic.  Simple as that.  Now stop whining about how metacritic should conform to what YOU think its standards should be. If you don't like it, then don't use it.

Yes that was written by an American of course. They just LOVE there wars don't they, the thing they learn in schools is how to start up wars. "
So you start a thread complaining about haters, and then you generalize AN ENTIRE COUNTRY!??

YOU SIR, are part of the problem.
