I've been meaning to write a topic about that very same post. I've stopped going to IGN after blissing out here on GiantBomb for a while now, basically because of articles like that. It's just unbelievable and completely unnecessary, and after reading the entire article (which was not the easiest thing in the world (seriously, announcing a "WINNER" for each catagory? Is that really necessary?)) I was left even more confounded. I understand why a large corporation has interests in being inflammatory, but come on. Both of these games look incredible, and personally I am more excited for Skyrim, it's just my speed, so perhaps I'm a bit biased in my outrage.

It's this type of "journalism" that is poisoning gaming culture and crippling a creative industry.

Saw the movie "Drive" this past weekend and it was so so good. I would love to hear either the track "A Real Hero (feat. Electric Youth)" by College or "Nightcall" by Kavinsky & Lovefoxxx. Tracks are sexy and sound great while driving. Also, if there were a little Herbie Hancock in there for good measure, sure, that'd be fine. :D

Ugh, I want to play Fez so bad. Does anybody have a more specific idea when that game is actually coming out?

This whole ordeal seems overwrought on both sides of the argument. I'm not sure if a full refund is really necessary, the patch seems justice enough. A lot of these comments have want to demonize Ubisoft, which is sort of ridiculous.

Chaotic Evil?

I'm not sure I can say I'm exciting for Rising right now, but I can say that when I first saw those teaser trailers I was very very excited.

I understand that mentioning Ichi the Killer and Audition in a story about Miike makes for good headlines (and it does, seriously, this is exciting news) but it should also be mentioned that Miike has written and directed many family friendly movies such as The Great Yokai War (which is one of my favorites of his (just as parenthesis are one of my favorite tools in grammar)). 
 
Again, extremely excited about this. It will be super entertaining no matter which direction it goes.

Aside from the strange doll-like character designs, this game looks like it's going to be a hell of a lot of fun to play.
