The exclusives on PS3 look a lot more appealing to me than the ones for the 360, so I definitely plan on buying one now. I think the Slim is pretty damn ugly, but it does the same thing, so whatever.Â
I would bite the bullet and get a new rig. Unless you really want to, you shouldn't have to buy a new Case, HDD(s), CD/DVD drive(s) or RAM(if it's 800mhz or above and with decent timings), since you already have those things. This means you can put a lot of money in a good GPU, CPU and mobo. I'd recommend spending the bulk of your money on a GPU; $150-200 should get you a excellant card. Of course, you'll need a good CPU to make sure it doesn't severely bottleneck. I recommend going no lower than $150 for a CPU.
If you want me to recommend you a specific build(or pre-made PC if you're not into the whole DIY thing), post(or mail me personally) a price point, what you wanna keep from your current build(if anything), and any preferances you might have(AMD or Intel? ATI or NVIDIA? Full or Mid Tower? etc).
Not much else to say about this that most people haven't already said, the film will be completely different from the game because the game has virtually no story compelling enough to make a quality film, leaving a mediocre writer plenty of room to add whatever he wants. I do think it could be done, but it would be best served as a short Japanese film(technically Wander and the Colossus), maybe an hour at most... It would really all be in the direction and cinematography where the meat of the film would be. I could imagine it, visually, being more like 300 mixed with a little bit of The Two Towers. But there again, going back to my first sentence, the film in my vision would be so close to the game there wouldn't be a point in making it. Games are meant to be played, not watched.

Oh really? Then explain to me, if you will, what experiences the Xbox systems have that are unique? Sure, the Xbox systems have tons of games ported from the PC. The problem is, they loose a lot of quality on a console, not just graphics, but gameplay wise as well. My arguement is, the games the Xbox systems have exclusively are not unique or innovative. At least Sony and Nintendo have come out with something fresh every once in a while. There's nothing on the Xbox that you cannot do the same or better on another platform, and most often, have been able to do for years.
