So whether I'm interested in Skull & Bones depends on what it turns out to be. If it's Black Flag without the Assassin's Creed parts then I'm very interested. If it's Destiny but with pirates I'm probably not.
Well said.
If it's more of Black Flag, then yes. The only Assassin's Creedy parts I'd want to see kept is actually having melee combat. If it's just ship combat (i.e. no boarding), then I'd be a lot less interested.
Big part of the fun of Black Flag for me was feeling like I was a character controlling a ship, rather than it feeling like I was just the ship.
Also, good character creation would be a huge plus.
Looking back fondly on playing Vanguard in Mass Effect 3 multiplayer, it dawned on me that this arcadey-looking shoot n loot -- which I had very little interest in based mostly on how uninteresting it's visual style is -- might just be a fleshed out successor to ME3's combat.
Then I found this video of the Trickster class, and it's basically the Vanguard with Soul Greatsword from Dark Souls and a bunch of fun-looking time abilities (including a return skill like Tracer).

Game aesthetically still looks bleh, but whatever, gameplay looks like a good bit of fun. Comes out next month, I think?
SO!
What do you all think about Outriders? Any interest? Like the look? Don't care? I know it's made its rounds here and there in the past, but it never seemed to make much waves afaik.
Makes sense if CDPR wanted to do good by their efforts to facilitate refunds. If Sony wouldn't offer refunds bc it's not delisted from the store, then delist the fucker and give the ppl refunds if they want.
Also don't see why it needs to have some purpose or effect on the game to be included. My nail colour in the game doesn't need to have some effect on story in order for me to care about picking one. Same for almost every other aspect of character creation.
Pretty disappointed with the hair options being different between body types though. They also conceivably could've had every face option just open to both (unless they do and it's just that there are facial features we can't change that make the head shapes retain their general differences).
