Music and moonshine

Music and moonshine
It started, as most musical endeavors do, with a conversation at an after party some months ago. Fueled by confidence of the fermented sort I requested a pianist to record some songs far removed from my usual repertoire. A friend of mine latched on to the idea, but as always with conversations like these, nothing really came out of it.
Until this weekend.
Since our initial conversation, my friend has built a small recording studio in his trailer, next to his still and the pillow that his neighbors cat usually sleeps on. It's cramped, but functional. Perfect for a duo who doesn't mind the drip-drip-drip sound of distillation, and knows how to appreciate the unconditional love only other peoples cats can give.
Sadly, we were unable to fit a working piano in there, so we had to settle for a smaller, electronic one, but beggars can't be choosers.
After spit-balling a couple of ideas, we recorded a song my friend wrote for the acoustic guitar a while back. There's other songs in the pipeline, but thanks to the aforementioned still, this is the only one we got down on tape during our first session.
So if you can appreciate a raspy voiced, piano based dirge, please check out our efforts at

Oh, if anyone know any better way of sharing mp3s for free, please let me know in the comments. Myspace is weird.
