So I asked for your guys' advice in the forums on parts I should get. I originally was planning on building an AMD machine, but I was advised to go Intel. Here are the parts I got, about $725 total:

Antec Three Hundred Black Steel ATX case

ASUS P8P67 LE Motherboard

Intel Core i5 2500k 3.3GHz CPU

Corsair XMS3 8GB (4x2GB) RAM

Western Digital Caviar Black 1.5TB Hard Drive

and Windows 7 64-bit

Everything should be here in a few days and I'll update my thousands of followers when I start building.

I should add that I have a 9800GTX+ that I'll put in there until Christmas comes, as well as a 650W PSU.
