SMT IV was one of my favorite games this year even if the story wasn't that... well realized. The combat and fusion is what I came to that game for. I think you should pick that up.

The World's End was pretty good. As were Furious 6, Thor 2 and Pacific Rim.

@gokaired: I think he got an honorary award a few years back. Not quite a best actor oscar, but at least he was acknowledged and honored for his work.

What a sad god damn year this has been.

I haven't seen many of Peter O'Toole's movies beyond Lawrence of Arabia but he was a great actor and will be very missed.

Of what came out this year, I've only gotten Papers, Please and the Typing of the Dead: Overkill... so Papers, Please I guess.

chinatown wars 2 for the 3DS?! I think so.

@bisonhero: I did skull woods first, with the hand smashing boss. It wasn't too bad, but I did almost die.

Great read. I'm currently playing through the game and loving it so far. Just made it to Lorule.

Let's see... what did I play this year:

In no particular order (yet): Ni No Kuni, Saints Row 4, The Last of Us, Fire Emblem Awakening, Shin Megami Tensei 4, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Ace Attorney Dual Destinies, Pokemon X, Super Mario 3D World, The Legend of Zelda: Windwaker HD, Rayman Legends, Animal Crossing New Leaf, Papers Please, Typing of the Dead Overkill, A Link Between Worlds (currently playing through) and probably some more stuff.

I'll have to trim that down to ten for my actual list. I love making that list.

Edit: I also played Wonderful 101 and MGR: Revengeance, but I didn't really get into those games that much. I don't know what it was (but I'm still looking forward to Bayonetta 2)... and Batman Arkham Origins, but let's forget that one.
