Legend of the Dragoon always pops in my mind when topics like this come up. It's super compelling and had a very interesting battle system that may not have aged well. Would love a remake.

Henry Hatsworth's last world ramps up very unexpectedly. Made it to the final boss, but just couldn't beat it. Really great and unique game otherwise.

43.2 million is my call

Tomb Raider for me. The game has a lot of mechanics, but they don't seem to amount to anything. SMT IV was recommended to me by a friend. I was bored by it pretty quickly.
