I respectfully disagree!

That's pretty much a deal breaker for me.

If you were watching this on TV you would have to sit through at least two 4 minute commercial breaks, so about four 15 second commercials per episode isn't horrible. Plus it's free, they have to make money somewhere.

Microsoft’s Xbox Live service has been on a roll in recent years adding a plethora of new features to justify their premium “Gold” subscription. Of these features come a number of apps that do anything from stream videos & music to connecting you to your various social networks. While some of these require a separate fee to access the content provided, there are still many free ones. One of these being Manga’s recently released video app.

No Caption Provided

The Manga app lets you stream various free full length anime series & movies from the Manga Entertainment catalogue. While all this content is also free on their website, it’s really nice to watch on a big screen tv & with great quality depending on your internet speed. Of the shows featured there are a few big name stand outs such as Gurren Lagann & Ghost in the Shell. To perhaps turn a profit from a free app, advertising can be a problem. Before each video & at 5 minute intervals throughout the duration, a commercial will interrupt. While it doesn’t ruin the experience, these can interrupt viewing at inconvenient times & volume, as well as repetition, can get annoying fast.

Of course this probably won’t be a killer app that gets many more people to opt into subscriptions; it’s a nice addition that shows growth in the service. As an anime fan it’s been nice to catch up on some shows without having to buy dvd collections, which can get awfully expensive. The Manga app is currently available for download free of charge on the North American Xbox Live Marketplace, with new content being updated every Wednesday.

If you’ve been looking for some anime to watch, this is a perfect chance. & might I suggest Gurren Lagann, I really can’t recommend that series highly enough.

Persona 5! Too bad that it'll probably come out on the PS3 several years from now.

Why is that so bad? Those games were great even on PS2. I think the PS3 is more than powerful enough for a Persona game. I don't think that better graphics is what is important for those games anyway. I'd buy P5 even if it was a PS2 game.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see a new Persona game no matter what console it's on. Even though it would look great on the PS3 i'd just prefer to be on the newest generation.

@HardcoreScene08: How is the PSP remake of P2:EP? Did they only redo the graphics and music or did they go deeper than that?

From everything I've read they did the same as with Innocent Sin. Remixed soundtrack, new intro, updated graphics, about it.

Should be released outside of Japan later this year.

If the game does not have a official English translation for the title, it goes by its Japanese title

Okay that makes since, I just wasn't sure since other gaming publications were using it's literal translation.

While searching for the game My Little Sister Can't Possibly Be This Cute Portable: Can't Possibly Continue on the wiki I discovered that there was no page for it. That was until I discovered that it was there under it's Japanese title, Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Iwake Ganai: Portable ga Tsudzuku Wake Ganai. I was wondering if it be better to change the name of the page to it English name even though the game will probably never come out over here?

EDIT: sorry I don't no why the title is there twice.

Okay so I searched the Japanese title of the game & found this wiki page. Just a stub so I might try to edit it some. Would it be better to change name of the wiki page to its English translation? Haven't worked on the wiki much so I'm not sure on how that works.

This game needs some newer pop punk bands like Title Fight & La Dispute on the soundtrack.

Not sure if anyone else on the forums picked up on this since I haven't been on in a few days, but according to a Eurogamer article, a game called My Little Sister Can't Possibly Be This Cute Portable: Can't Possibly Continue was the number 1 selling game in Japan last week. It even beat out one of my favorite games of all time Persona 2: Eternal Punishment (PSP remake). I went to Youtube to see just what this games all about & still have no idea, looks like some weird dating sim. Is it normal for obscure games like this that no one in west has ever heard of to sell this well in Japan? The game doesn't even have a page on the Giantbomb wiki as far as I can tell.
