Ah man, Rorie was a huge influence for me back in the Screened days. Gonna miss that man. A couple years ago I threw together a supercut of all his puppy reviews from the Whiskey Media Happy Hour days:

For a couple years now I've been wanting to put together a supercut of my favorite segment from the Whiskey Media Happy Hours, which is Matt Rorie rating movies based on puppies and reacting to videos of said puppies. Well, I finally did it. It's 40 minutes so I don't expect everyone to watch all the way through, but this stuff always helps me feel better whenever I'm down or stressed. So here it is, the thing probably no one asked for, a supercut of every puppy video Matthew Rorie ever screened and reacted to on the Whiskey Media Happy Hours in chronological order:

@ThatFrood: Brick soundtrack, yo
Edit: Actually, I have a bunch of soundtracks, but I never use the Brick soundtrack as background music. I guess it's not really great for that. It's just a damn fine soundtrack. As far as background soundtracks go, I often go with just about anything Thomas Newman or Clint Mansell have done.

@ThatFrood: Yeah, I can dig that! There is a song from 8bit-DB from a guy called X-Ray that I can't stop listening to also.

I've been listening to the new Japandroids album that just came out this month a bunch:

  I also made my own Summer playlist yesterday.That said, I've also been on an odd B-52s kick lately as well. GET OUTTA THAT STATE, GET OUTTA THAT STATE, YOU'RE IN, YOUR OWN PRIVATE IDAHO, WHOOOOOA WHOOOOOA:

Hey guys. This thread is nearly two years old at this point, but uh, I was the guy that got the Petz: Horsez gift. I don't think I was even on GB at the time. Funny story, though: ThatFrood and I have sort of been swapping terrible games at each other's birthdays ever since this, and today I was looking for a gift for him (everybody say happy birthday to the froodster!). I googled "worst games on steam" and lo and behold right near the top I see this. Oh hey, a GB thread! Better go check that first! And sure enough, the magic of that first fateful terrible game gift is remembered.

Anyway, I decided not to go with any of these options cause I figured that would spoil the fun, so I went with Emergency 2012. It's basically a terrible RTS where you control fire trucks mostly. Just check out this Steam game description:

Let the rescuing begin!

A cold snap in London and Munich, Riots in Paris after a severe storm, blistering heat in Berlin, massive bush fires in Athens: The year is 2012 and the world as we know it seems to have spiraled out of control. As the head of rescue operations it’s your job to ensure the safety of the population. Guide the police forces, fire brigades and specialist rescue crews to save hundreds of lives!

Take on natural disasters, terror attacks and more as you battle to regain order and bring the town back from the brink of destruction. The world is counting on you, can you handle the pressure?

With such Key Features as:
Top-quality graphics: The Visions engine makes for the best Emergency visuals of all times. Special light effects make flames and flashing blue lights flicker realistically and illuminate the surroundings.
Complex game world: The game world of Emergency 2012 is a complex simulation which allows for unforeseen events and various approaches to a solution.

As the Representative for Gerstland Pop Culture, I propose we shall become a cultural society.
In regards to short term goals, I agree with the proposition for a Settler, though I feel we should put precedence on Mining before Pottery. We must teach the good citizens to get used to the dust in their lungs as quickly as possible!
