"Warhammer 40k: Space Marine" Get Ready To Hear a British accent 0

When I first booted Warhammer 40k: Space Marine up I was really excited. I've avoided all media coverage on it, so I could dive into it completely fresh. The Warhammer universe and lore has always been fascinating to me, but this game is not a great representation of the depth of that universe. Also, the combat painfully reminds me of the Dynasty Warriors series.I'm not saying it's a bad game, but it's also not a really good one either. I was sort of bored throughout the whole experience with th...

"Batman: Arkham City" Refinement over Innovation 0

Batman Arkham City is a game of refinement not innovation. Batman Arkham City is the sequel to Rocksteady Studios' Batman Arkham Asylum. In many people's mind Arkham Asylum was the 2009 game of the year, so naturally, expectations were high coming into this game. Rocksteady definitely made another great game, but don't look for something new.Arkham city keeps all the same aesthetic you would want in a current Batman game. You feel like a predator while in stealth, every thug is scared to death o...

El Shaddi: Ascension of the Metatron Review- Is the Art Style Eno 0

In some ways El Shaddi is unlike any game I've ever played, but in other ways it is also a clone of some of the most popular game franchises out there today. There is nothing wrong with El Shaddi, but other than the art style there is nothing to get really excited about either. After a lot of deliberation 4 out of 5 stars felt like the right score for the game. The story is okay, the price seems a little high at 60 dollars, and the combat seems too simple to get excited over. The story follows th...

A Fairy Tale Setting With Intense Combat 0

Bastion defines what is remarkable about Xbox Live Arcade. Bastion's seven to ten hour experience feels like a steal at fifteen dollars. The story, art style, and fast paced action stand out as some the best this year, regardless of size or platform. It has redefined narration in video games. In the world of Bastion a terrible event known as the Calamity has destroyed the world of Caelondia. You'll play as a silent little guy known only as "The Kid". As The Kid journeys through this extravagant w...

The gameplay holds back a potentially awesome game 0

Catherine is a game that everyone should play, but maybe not buy. There is an amazing story and storytelling method in it. Sadly, the game's impact is weighed down by climbing block towers which is boring, tedious, and frustrating.Catherine starts off with men dying constantly dying on the news of mysterious circumstances. The main character Vincent is having weird dreams, because he's cheating on his girlfriend Katherine. He later finds out that all the men who've died were also cheating and ha...
