I like video games a lot.  And by that I mean I enjoy platformers, FPS's, RPG's, RTS's, and the like.  Sports games not so much, but I still play them with friends sometimes.  I actively play Xbox 360 as well as my original xbox games, PS3 and a ton of PS2 and PS1 games, and my Wii that includes ALL of that Virtual Console action and GameCube stuff.  I also like my PSP and DS for gaming on the go.  The DS mainly for all those Square Enix games and my PSP for all the Metal Gear stuff and some various other unique games on there.

As for game series, Metal Gear would have to be my all time top choice.  Everything I play ends up getting compared to Metal Gear at some point.  As for others, I really loved Super Mario 64 when it first came out, but all Mario games are great to me.  Besides 64, I'd say Mario 3 would be the best in that series, followed close by Super Mario RPG for SNES.  For shooters,  i enjoyed the campaigns on Halo 1 and 3.  I liked Gears of War even better than those.  Multiplayer-get-shot-by-a-10-year-old-repeatedly-online modes don't appeal to me, so I don't play those games online much.

RPG's get their own paragraph.  My all time favorite RPG would probably be the first one I ever beat...Knights of the Old Republic!  I've played several before and after that one, but it's the first one I completed thoroughly and sincerely enjoyed all the way through.  I also love the Final Fantasy series and Elder Scrolls Oblivion.  Most recent, I have been addicted to Fallout 3, but the other Fallouts were just as good!  Favorite Final Fantasy would probably be FFVI (III on the SNES, I believe.) because of the really great story and the cool characters it had.
