First of all, I love the whole Bomb Squad crew.  They each have their own unique talent they bring to the site.  I'm watching them both concurrently, but I have some issues with this whole thing.  VJ are having fun, taking their time, doing side missions, exploring the world, etc.

On BR, Ryan is constantly telling Brad what to do and how he's doing it all wrong so Brad gets frustrated (for example naked ceiling lady) and goes into fits of swearing.  I just don't think these two are getting to enjoy it because Ryan is constantly pushing Brad to finish the main story.  But look, when compared to VJ, BR have less money, less side quests done, but they're further along in the story.  I don't think they are getting the full experience and this makes me wonder how Brad and Ryan play games when they review them.  Do they play them thoroughly or just rush through like this?

TRY TO HAVE SOME FUN, GUYS!  RELAX!  YOUR VIEWING AUDIENCE ISN'T GOING ANYWHERE!  TAKE YOUR TIME!

Grad school as in masters or doctorate, whatever.  I was just curious.  Congratulations to those about to finish up!  Good luck.  And as for BK guy up there, it's a start, but aim higher!

Hey, just wondering how many people on GB are in Grad School and, if so, is it sucking the life out of you?

I am about to enter my final year before freedom.  My school runs year round so technically in May I'll be 1 short (hopefully) year from graduation.

So who else out there is finishing up the education phase of their lives right now?

You know Jeff's rules.  You have to submit this to him with your reasoning as well as your age and he alone can decide if it can be YOUR Greatest Game of All Time.

The very idea that a shooter can be the greatest game of all time just doesn't compute with me.  Bioshock is an excellent game in many ways.  Story telling, graphics, gameplay (except the gunplay was kinda...meh) were all excellent.  I loved the environment of Rapture and the story was compelling all of the way through the story to the conclusion.  But one factor stands out to me, when I finished that game I was done with it.  It was an excellent game, an excellent experience, but there was nothing in it to compel me to start it over again.  So to me, that's why I couldn't call that my favorite game ever, but hey, that's just me.  I like your argument and I hope Jeff approves of it!  :-D

I've got this game, it is taking me forever to get through it, but even at what I have seen, I don't understand why the Mature rating?  Can anyone let me know what's going on with that?  Just curious.

And if it's plot related or whatever just put a spoiler warning or something.  If this game has a story...lol

Thanks for any help!

eh...it's another God of War game...you slash undead things, you slash monsters, blood and guts happen in high definition, there are boobs involved.  It's fun, but not deep.  I'm ok with a 4 out of 5.  The way I see it, if I enjoy the game, then who cares what the scores say?

BUT I WON'T STAND FOR ANY METAL GEAR GAME GETTING BELOW A 6 OUT OF 5!!!  EVEN THE CRAPPY IPHONE GAME!  ALL WILL BOW TO KOJIMA AND SNAKE!!!

*sigh* It's like an emotional roller coaster as I read this thread.  One makes it sound impossible, the next says something awesome about the game.  I just can't figure out what to do!  I've been anticipating this game for months now, so I really want to go buy it today, but now I'm afraid it won't be fun until I'm 30 hours into it or something.  haha

" But how does cosmic inflation work?!?!?!?  I don't get it.  If space is "inflating" or expanding, what is it expanding into?!?!?!?! "
It sounds like your problem isn't with the concept.  You are struggling getting your mind around the idea that space is infinite.  That's a hard concept to just accept.  If it's expanding as they say, which is logical considering the dispersion of energy, then it will continue to expand and dissipate.  The "Where?" question has not been answered.  We can only "see" where light or some other form of radiation is present, we can only calculate things that are calculable.  The limits of the universe or the "boundaries" can't be defined so simply.  In other words, it's not like Futurama where there's an edge to the universe.

And as for time, time is a human measurement so that our minds can deal with the flow of things.  For example, our minds are built to work on a sleep schedule due to day and night cycles.  Time does not exist outside of our minds and our clocks.
