As Thief is my favourite ever game series I'm hanging for this... hopefully it is more than just a DXHR reskin (which would still be a good game). I want something spectacular, not good.

Everyone fucking knows that this means sweet fuck all for Gearbox - you suckers are still gonna eat Borderlands 3-10 shit up on a plate and hell... even the next Duke Nukem when it comes around to release time. (next 3 years at most).

All this shit slinging at gearbox will slide right off when the next fanboygasm game that seems to be Borderlands (which I thought was a rather shit update to that Diablo FPS that failed majorly as well) get's released to epic reviews and stellar sales.

Gearbox are laughing all the way to the bank.

edit: got mixed up and realised that they had nothing to do with gunman chronicles.. ahaha

Let's just say the last decent thing they did was Op For, as Blue Shift was pretty average...

Abrams taking the helm of most half decent established sci-fi properties is a scary thing indeed. Star Trek was OK, but I'm not a huge Star Trek fan so didn't mind. I can't imagine how he would not ruin Half-Life, and well Star Wars... the only way is up I guess...

Not really... he was a name on Deus Ex, System Shock and Thief and from what I can ascertain the other big names behind those either were largely responsible or much better at building upon those foundations to make great games... ala Dishonoured and Bioshock.

Yep, they confirmed that on the Playstation blog. You can add them to your Download list on the PS3, sit on them for a year or two (as long as your subscription doesn't lapse), then actually download the full games when you have a Vita to put them on.

You just can't compare PS+ to Live at all - never could, and never will. My original X360 gathers more and more dust as months go by...

Sony have a guaranteed way to keep me subscribing as long as its only $50-70 per annum for a long long time... and even if worst come to worst and the service is stopped somehow... the games will be so cheap by then that buying hard copies would hardly be an issue fo the games you still want... and the cloud saving should transfer over no worries...

This won't be cheaper than an iPad - it was way more full-featured. That being said it should be a hell of a lot better and more useful!

I'll wait off getting iPad 3 also to see how this turns out. I'd prefer a tablet that can run basic photoshop and load up an external HD or compact flash reader out of the box please for my photography purposes.
