I'm interested in this game. It looks like it's right up my ally, if the developers can pull it off. I like open world games. I like motorcycles I like single player open world games.

Unless pre-release coverage starts coming out in the next day or two talking all sorts of mad shit about how buggy and terrible it is, I'll probably be playing it this weekend; otherwise I'll wait until it's on sale and, hopefully, fixed to give it a whirl.

I Loooooooooooooooooooooooooooove it. Played it all weekend. I'm very excited for the early access release next week.

@themasterds: I like how you said, ".. everyone should just stay with Curse...", like that's a thing that "everyone" does. You're, honestly, the first person I've seen mention actually using it.

With that said, I agree with the sentiment. I've used Teamspeak, Ventrillo, Skype, Google Hangouts and Mumble over the last few years; every time I meet new people playing random games it seems they're using something different.

After hearing Brad mention Discord in the stream, though, I went to check it out because it actually sounded kind of great. This is the first time in a long time that I've been kind of excited about a new chat client for gaming... I like that it supports text and voice with the ability to just give someone a link to join in quickly (no download required). Here's to hoping it's actually the client to end all others (for a few years at least).

@beeelow: I believe Killer Instinct still runs it's "free to play" model (aka: demo of the game that includes 1 character, you purchase the rest).

I've been playing this on Vita the last couple of days, at lunch; it's a lot of fun so far :)

From what I've seen of the game play so far, I'm very excited; the game looks like a wonderful mix of Assassins Creed & the Arkham games in the Lord of the Rings universe but not tied directly to the books/movies (hooray for new stories!).
