Since I'm sure someone will be a no-show (every tournament always has a few), if anyone needs a replacement player I'd love to join. I'm diamond 2-ish this season, so I promise to not suck :)
@dethfish: Thanks! Those were some stressful games. We basically just kept the pressure on you as best we could and hoped for the puck to eventually find it's way to the goal. And the scores were 2-0,1-0, 0-1, 2-0, 2-1.
I know our team had a lot of fun in this tournament. Definitely hoping for more in the future.

Definitely! In fact if we can work it out so the third place game happens and then rolls into the finals then we could stream both and make a big to-do about it. Obviously it's a little harder to organize 4 teams at once, but it'd be a nice way to wrap this all up.

Assuming I'm reading the Challonge page correctly, that's a good call making it so set win% is the first tie breaker after head to head now. My team was just saying after our last game that's how it should be and it makes way more sense. Very good change.
First game for us in the books! We were soundly outclassed by Close, But No Crossbar.
Close But No Crossbar beat Princess Aerial & The Sweet Science, 3-0 (5-1, 7-0, 7-1)
The three of us have played together a lot. Like way more than necessary. You guys will do great in your other matches! Just coordinate a little more when clearing the puck from your corner and have someone stay back in goal and you'll be fine.
In case anyone didn't watch UPF, I asked if there would be a livestream of the games and there definitely will be, but it sounds like it probably won't be until January.
