I still have no idea what the "Best World" was supposed to be. Even after one of them would offer their concise definition of what they thought it meant, then people seemed to just ignore that definition and make arguments directly counter to the definition.

Sony told developers to support both moving forward. I suppose you could say that "support" means it runs on both platforms identically, but that's probably not what they had in mind.
Alright, fine, I'll sink several hundreds of hours into Destiny 2. Just waiting for that hot PC release.
and the second-to-last mission of the campaign in particular features some of the most breathtaking and larger-than-life imagery I can ever remember in a game.

Watching that Pac-Man Vs segment made me sad. They seemed so bored. For me Pac-Man Vs is a fun game I play with family about once a year. Pac-Man Battle Royale was a bad thing I tried at Dave & Buster's and never want to play again.
I like MOBAs, but boy am I tired of the Dota talk. I know people have been voicing the same sentiment for the last 5 years. I just wish there was a timestamp to know what part to skip.
I played the mobile version of this, and it was kind of a bummer. The actual picross puzzles are only a portion of the game. The parts where you fight monsters using a 5x5 picross grid didn't scratch the same itch.
Seeing everyone go like "Oh what a surprise, Dan gives a Nintendo game a 5!" made me take a look at all of his Nintendo game reviews on Giant Bomb and I really see no grounds for calling out a bias. Two 4/5s, two 3/5s and three 2/5s. So not only did he ever give 5/5 to a Nintendo game before BotW on this site but his most common score is 2/5.
He did give a 5/5 to Bayonetta 2, which Nintendo published. Your point still stands though. Dan is willing to give low scores to Nintendo games (far lower than their Metacritic averages) when he feels they deserve it. He doesn't just give Nintendo games a free pass.
