My non-FB FB update.  Your munchkin quote for today:  "I feel like my brain is floating around on an electron cloud."

I never got to see SoundGarden when they were together and I was just getting into them before they would go on to be my favorite band of all time... then they broke up.  Well I guess I'll never get that chance I thought...  turns out I was probably wrong.  In fact, I'm going to get to see them with QotSA, Mastadon and the Meat Puppets... imagine that.  I love the possibility that I'll get to see Guitar Guru's Josh Homme and Kim Thayil playing together, how awesome would that be!?

I've been thinking about how interesting it is that some of the things (mostly music) that I love to death now I initially didn't like.  I don't know if that says something about the pervasiveness of the compositions that initially I didn't like them and they seemed odd and strange and how could someone like this stuff and call it "music" to then evolve into something so somplex that the layers and masterful levels at play have become something slowly realized to be what they are, which is usually amazing.
