I would have been awesome to have the commentary, but I'm really not interested in all the things that would collect dust tucked away with the Halo 3-head...
Even if all I did on the Whiskey Media-sites was listening on the podcasts I would get an hour of entertainment for like $2. But since I consume tons of more content then just the podcasts it's probably more like $000000.2 per hour of entertainment. But I guess a lot of the negative responses comes from the fact that a hole generation of people thinks everything thats not a physical object should be free.

I guess you haven't missed the outrage and complaint this particular podcast have gotten? So you are going to pass on a weekly podcast based on one single episode that obviously sticks out as something extremely unusual (it's the second time it ever happened out of 100+ episodes). What the hell? Seriously.

This. People act similar to her all the time when they've had some alcohol and discusses something exciting with a group of people. She doesn't deserve to be trashed over the internet as if she got into a car drunk and drove over a bunch of children just because she happened to be drunk and perhaps lowered the quality of a podcast with plenty of listeners. I fucking love the Bombcast and if something made me think a episode was less enjoying I would express that. But that can quite easily be done without assaulting people with retarded comments.
No fucking way I would. The hours of entertainment I enjoyed for free since I started visiting this site and will continue enjoy the next couple of years makes 500 dollars seem kind of... stupid? At least I would feel stupid if I had spent 1000 hours (it's probably more then that when you think of all the Bombcasts, ER, QL) on something that was only worth $500. If I know your currency correctly thats like 50 cent per hour of entertainment?
You can almost get everything with right amount of money and the few things you cant buy will be extremely easier to get if you have money. Some people have mentioned that they wouldn't be able to carry the guilt if they shoot someone to death. Well I wouldn't be able to carry the guilt for not pulling the trigger if someone in my family or a friend got some sort of illness or injury that could have been fixed with lots of money. And calling people psychopaths or similar things for answering "Yes" also seems a bit strange since it is in are nature to look after ourselves and our family. And securing that amount of money would most certainly increase the chances for you to take care of the people around you trough several generations.

You did manage to miss the most common reason for drinking. Or maybe "certain things" means "having less fun then they could have"? Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I'm not saying everyone should drink, but statements like yours seem just as stupid as "nerds play video games cause they don't have a social life".
It feels kind of impossible to answer a question where the answer heavily relies on which positive effects a substance can have on your brain if the one asking haven't experienced it themselves. I guess you could try to imagine that feeling when something extremely good has happened and you basically want to share that joy with everyone you see, even the complete strangers and even if it means dancing in happiness making a fool of yourself. Imagine that feeling but it lasts longer and everyone in your company usually feels the same.
Damn thats a bummer, but still gratz to lucky winners! At least I got some experience points for participating in your contest. All other websites giving away codes made me post stupid messages on twitter.
I guess I don't dislike video reviews, but it's not that much you can do with them. It will always be kind of a shorter version of a written review mixed with some footage from the game. And since I personally like to spend a fair amount on watching trailers, listening to podcasts, reading reviews and checking out other media from games trough screenshots or Giant Bombs patented Quick Looks I really don't have a need for the compact and short insight into a games quality that video reviews offers.
