Nintendo is slipping when it comes to pleasing hardcore gamers.... just take Nintendo's E3 press conference for example.  Did you see Mario, Zelda, or Metroid there? Hell no.  Just another Animal Crossing game and Wii Sports 2.   Nintendo is becoming boring because they haven't done anything new in quite some time.....nor do they have a solid lineup for the next few months.  Note that I'm not counting thrid-party support.....at least the Wii is getting MadWorld and The Conduit.   I really think that Nintendo is losing it's core gamers in favor of the casual crowd, because after all, many Wiis were sold to consumers who have had NO prior game experience.   So where are all the hardcore gamers, like us, going?  To the Xbox 360 and PS3.  I suggest buying a 360 or PS3 to compliment the Wii you already own, if you haven't already.  I'm not counting Nintendo out though.... Look at hardware sales.  Nintendo will live on through the casual gamer.... Boring to us, but an all-new experience to them.  Ironic, isn't it?
