"The Ultimate Battle!"

I found this hilariously bad advertisement in my physical spam mail today. Apparently, Wii kids and PS3 kids are now at war and are required to yell at each other.

Ridiculousness aside, is there any real war going on in the motion control market? I would think that people who are interested in the motion controls alone would go for the Wii since its the cheapest solution.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA

*ahem*

Sorry about that.  Yeah, I agree.  Anyone who is in the target audience of this ad (i.e. parents of small children) will buy the Wii.

No, only war I can really think between motion controllers would be Kinect vs. Move.

In my most humble opinion, all motion controllers suck.

'Cept maybe Heavy Rain.  Maybe.

The kid on the left has a clenched fist. Thus, he will win despite his system costing more semicolons.

To be honest, I have no idea why the prices are shown like "X,-". Guess that's prettier than "X kr"?

They need to have a psychic war with beams shooting out of their respective eyes or something.

No, forget I said that.  That's what's coming next.

You know, when they had like gusher's fruit chews and the kids would get splatted flat, cartoon style?  It didn't look like cartoons, it looked like real people getting squished.  Garg.

So, on second thought, this is perfectly acceptable. Reminds me of the old lame Sears Catalog setups they used to have.  Except...  I guess they were less antagonistic :)

From a design standpoint, that is ugly as HELL. What the fuck was the designer thinking?
