Games I Beat in 20-Quart

Video games!

I do a terrible job of keeping track of the games I play and complete each year, and when it comes down to sorting out GOTY nonsense, it'd help to have it sorted somewhere. ENTER THE LIST FEATURE AT GIANT BOMB DOT COM

  • A pretty great game, even if the combat is a little shallow by the end. It just keeps going.

  • What a dumb, goofy, ridiculous thrill ride.

  • Some smart design changes in the sequel, and although the world isn't quite as "dense" as DS1, it still feels sprawling and harrowing.

  • Adorable, approachable and admirable are three words that describe Octodad.

  • It's haunting and full of some gorgeous Tron-esque caves. The synthesizer stuff works pretty well, and the puzzles are aaaalmost perfect where difficulty's concerned.

  • Okay, so technically I've only beaten the first half, but what's available in "Early Access" right now still hosts some really good pointin' and clickin'. The storybook-style art really hammers the narrative home.

  • I can't specify the Whistleblower DLC here, but that is what I actually completed. A neat addition to the main game with some reaaaaal creepy moments. It might be a little samey but if you enjoyed Outlast, this is more of that.

  • it wasn't very good. in fact, it was the most mediocre average-ass game I have played in years.

  • ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh if I hadn't had to review this, it would never have entered my minddome.

  • pretty crazy game! I enjoyed it.

  • For a game about shooting and stabbing a small town's worth of Nazis, there's some surprising nuance to its storytelling underneath the solid mechanics. Great game, very unexpected.

  • What a fantastic action platformer. One of the very few games worthy of the "retro" moniker.

  • A fairly well assembled story with a rate of release that was just a hair too slow. I still enjoyed it for what it was.

  • A strong second season but not quite as strong as the first. I thought it ended on a fairly decent note, but not quite the emotional catastrophe that was S1's ending.

  • I'm not sure what this game is, but it looks pretty similar to Dave Lang's Turnover, which is a really solid weird spin (HA) on Kuru Kuru Kururin, a game I have never heard of. A wonderful surprise.
