The fuck is this shit? They did almost 100 hours last year! Kidding, I'm kind of glad it's not that much it took a ton out of me trying to stay up for as much as I could last year lol. Glad that Lang is part of it this year instead of doing his own separate stream 'cause he didn't archive his stuff so I couldn't really watch it. Would be cool to know how long each segment is going for so I can plan for it(I know it's sad that I have nothing else going on). Super excited for this let's goooooooooooo.
Remember this song from that first(I think first) The Witness trailer from that PS4 launch presentation almost 3 years ago? Also Patrick & Ryan played this game before they were bought by CBSi almost 4 years ago. Braid was one of my favorites from last gen and I'm psyched that The Witness is finally almost here.
Wow I forgot about that whole thing about them not doing a review for Red Dead. I think it was weeks and maybe months after the game came out and there were still people asking for them to review it. The response to that was basically, hey, everybody knows this game is good, we talked about how good it is on The Bombcast, we're not going to take time to do a written review, and you already know that we think it's good(except Jeff who hated it despite really liking GTAIV).
I replayed it recently and I still like it but can understand why people wouldn't like it, the movement doesn't control well, but I played through GTA IV for the first time this year and fuckin' hell that game is frustrating as shit, mainly because of no checkpoints. (There's my thoughts on 5-7 year old games thank you!)
@antivanti: I tried looking it up and got pointed to a playthrough she did of Aladdin for the Genesis. I'm not sure if that's the origin of it or if it was just referenced in that video(I didn't watch it 'cause it's over an hour long). But yeah I've wondered where that Queens of Rats nickname came from.

Heh yeah, I've seen new Bombcast listeners on forums say that they get confused at the amount of in-jokes and stuff like that. But I guess there's no way around that when the podcast has been going for as long as this one unless you want to explain every joke and reference you make, which wouldn't make for very good "radio" :P
Inside jokes are fine but they could have said that Rorie is the community guy and is usually on UPF every week but his only response was "yeah I'm still here and mostly in the backround." Like the guy doesn't even know who you are and that's supposed to clear things up? Whatever they clearly don't give a shit about things like that and it seems to work out for them.
