Coming off God of War to this was rough! Played about 15 mins and it didn’t grab me so mission failed as a demo for me. The world looked sparse and the enemies were bog standard and uninteresting. Controls were clunky, and the environment didn’t lend itself well to the parkour elements. I’ll be giving it a miss based on this.

@rafaelfc: I'm not like taking this thread like that seriously. It's like what we call like light banter in the UK. Like chill your bean dude.

For the record, I've been listening weekly since the start in 2008 and love the guys and normally I don't notice anything. But the two guys guesting this week have spread the word "like" similar to an epidemic of "like" tourets! I've broken up my listening into sessions to cope, started again, and one of the guesting guys just said "like" in one phrase 15 times. If they used "for instance" instead that would better. Lazy Gits! Anyway back to the rest of the podcast... ahem..

Normally I don't notice it, but the guests are the worst offenders and seem to have started a chain reaction of "likes" with the guys as well. I understand they're just relating to them but even so... It's like a dripping tap. Once you notice it, you cant stop..

Hi All,

I'm 30 minutes into the podcast and I'm considering turning it off, which is upsetting me!!! Is it just me or why is everyone insisting on using "like" for every other word!! It's so distracting, and annoying. PLEASE guys, get out of this habit!!

Thanks

Richard

A great moment no-one has mentioned was the scene reveal with the old version of Elizabeth, presenting the Zeppelins bombing of what looked like modern day New York. Columbia was a real place in time, and we are all fucked

@PassiveKaerenai Blockbuster will defo be next. They follow a similar pattern to Woolworths where clearly no money was invested into the scruffy stores for the final two years. Plus with the advent of love film and Netflix it really is just a matter if time. Game closing fills me with a mixture of sadness and mild happiness; I found the game station staff in the reading area to be smug slackers not customer focused at all. Eg having a disc repair machine that removes scratches and charging you two quid for the privilege of using it. Bollocks!

Well the gamespot uk podcast needs to up its game now as it had become an annoying flaky affair lacking in decent humour. I would love to see Jane and Guy guesting in the GB podcast though; Alex can remain in the backroom editorial staff where he should be. The GB podcast is the model that all other podcasts should be measured on!!!
