Thought the first two were ok. SR3 was just the best pure GAME I played all last year. It was just fun, didnt fight me like Dark Souls and just ate away the hours like Skyrim. It reminded me of why I love video games to begin with, it just made me smile!
Don't know if anyone else has read this but another classic gaming site/mag has fallen. Followed the Magazine since I was but a young gamer. Hope all the staff finds something new, sad to see this especially this time of the year.
Wait....................Uncharted 3 only got an 8 out of 10. Does this mean it's not going to be put out on shelves? Is it going to become Vaporware? Why has the industry forsaken us all! What if Modern Warfare 3 and Skyrim suffer the same fate? These truly are the Dark days, Repent, Repent!!!!!!!!! Oh god! Someone start pirating copies now!!!!!
Whats that? The videogame industry would sell you a turd in a box if it could? Oh well.........I guess 8 out of 10 IS better then a steaming pile of shit!
I play them to completion as well. But this time with Lego Indy 2, I just could not finish those last three. I refused, I was so burned out that I put the game down and havent been back since. Believe me I feel your pain with the Area 51 Achievement. I tried several times with friends and even my wife and yes to your assertion it did almost ruin those relationships. Best of luck to you.
I have to say that Don Quixote by Miguel De Cervantes, is still A book that I can read again and again year after year. Simply put the tale of A man who is so enthralled in his own world that reality itself seems A distant idea, as A gamer and A dreamer myself that always seemed to be A pretty profound subject to explore. For those seeking something shorter and perhaps A little more modern (in so much as the writing style) Stardust by Neil Gaiman.
Favorite: Chris Jericho, Eddie Guerrero, Tazz(you know the original FTW champion, not the watered down WWE cat from later years), and I know your not supposed to whisper his name 3 times anymore or he might steal your soul, Chris Benoit.
