One of my biggest issues was that the single player combat so often turned into wave based arenas, takes away from any feeling of progression from the level.

To be fair they've known this was coming for a while. If he is done with Screened I can understand how motivation to keep content up could be low, he would have other things to do like finding a new job.

The solution could be subscriber only boards. Doesn't help everyone, but would be a nice perk pending a forum merger. That being said, I barely post here anyway haha.

I played through the DLC with my only save and it didn't register. Shepard acted like he had no clue.

My two biggest issues so far are no ability to holster the weapon in combat missions, and the wave based combat. It's never fun to play "protect the tower while it's hacked" while waves of enemies come. Fine for multi, but in single player it kills the immersion. The combat itself feels great though.

I have both a Vita and a 3DS and very much prefer my Vita. The 3DS feels completely antiquated on the OS and visual side, and the hardware itself feels poor. I do have to wonder about the long term investment of the Vita though, it will require developers to really put resources into these games for them to be worthwhile. If it is just a dumping ground for bad ports then it won't be successful.

Oblivion and Skyrim both suffer from this. Everything pretty much looks the same, and all the dungeons and quest areas do as well. Makes me miss Morrowind where each area had a distinct look and even weather to it.

So far for me the 3G is completely useless, it can't even be used to pull MLB cloud saves when that comes out. I went with the 3G bundle without realizing the silly pay for a month and then wait another one for your free game policy. The only benefit I can see is maybe increased resell value for when the inevitable redesign comes out or I stop using it.

The last two books have been pretty poor in terms of entertainment value and plot progression. It's gotten to the point where they throw generic fantasy name after generic fantasy name at you and expect you to care about all these people, while the established characters tread water. That being said, the first three books are great and having read the first one did not make the show any less enjoyable. In fact, it was fun to see people react to what I knew was coming.
