"The Sperm and the Egg. Shall Our Bond Be Similar?"

"... You're fucking freaky."

A line from my sci-fi tale, Domain. Hope that doesn't disrupt your process in reading this blog. :P

So yeah, plenty of stuff has been going down in the crib. I got the RROD and I am totally bored and disgruntled because of it. I look at the Bungie.net Forums and see the fans have fun with the new TU2 update for Halo3. Boy, how freaking lucky am I? To make it even more dark, I can't even play and beat Duke Nukem3D, my most #4 awaited game on 2008. Bumblebee Pie!

I just got another $20 from my grandmother. Yeah yeah, I know. "GET A JOB!" I tried last Summer, but you see, my dear friends; our economy isn't as easy as it once was. Getting a part time job is as hard as Ninja Gaiden, and I feel oh-so bad about myself because of it. I feel like a loser that's just sitting on this very PC chair, doing nothing but gaining weight and playing games. I go to school, sure, but will it be worth it in the end? Will I have the ability of portraying my imagination and make currency in the process? I mean, look at Bojangles. He said I suck at writing. Hearing this from such an awesome GS/Giantbomb user seems like a strict command or statement...

Enough of this emotional bull shit! I'll just change the topic.

So I have $40 in total. I am saving it up until I get enough money to buy my other anticipated titles coming out this late of 2008. Gears of War2 is my #1 must buy since it has content up the ass, but the second is quite hard. There's a mild possibility that I won't have the total money to get three games; that being Fallout3 and Far Cry 2. I am defiantly buying two, no doubt. But I must sacrifice either Fallout3 or Far Cry2. Here are the thoughts that I have for both of them...

Far Cry2

+Innovative game play, ranging from stealth and rambo while still inheriting traits of natural survival.
+Immersive interactions with your guns, the environment, and the weather.
+Sexy AI.
+Smart graphics.
+Level Editor that makes Forge look like shit.
-Mission design scares me. I don't want to go through the game with repetitive copy and paste side quests. That ruins any special feature with a game, and that's the story pacing and the level design.
-You can't make your own game modes like Halo3.
-You can't upload your maps on a Far Cry2/Ubisoft site that can be rated and downloaded.

Fallout3

+Side-quests contain the rich variety that made Oblivion so awesome.
+Plenty of deep RPG elements that are similar to System Shock2, only that it takes place in an open-ended environment.
+Keeps the actual feel of Fallout.
+100 Hours of variational game play...
-... but Oblivion had 200 hours.
-Carries too much similarities with Oblivion, making it look quite outdated.

So what do you guys prefer? Don't start fights with each other, I just want opinions. Also, you may get mad by me comparing Halo3 and Far Cry2. Well, I just think Bungie's way of expressing your Forged creations is amazing, and it should be something to be followed through and improved in future games.

I think I had more to say, but I forgot. So I guess I'll leave you with another question (I really hope you guys don't mind).

Do you guys hate it when I type bad language in my blogs? If so, I'll defiantly stop. I don't want to sicken or offend anybody. It's just the way I am in my figure of speech, and I never use bad language as an offense. But if it still disturbs you, just say the word.

Thanks. :)

Both look like very good games, but I think you'd get your money's worth with Fallout 3 since they say it's a 100-hour game, compared to a 10-12 hour game with Far Cry 2.  Of course, it depends on if you're in the mood for a shooter or a RPG.

Fallout 3 is more worth your money, but Far Cry 2 is still awesome.

I'm highly anticipating Fallout 3 and FarCry 2.

Also, I think School is always worth it. The more experience and knowledge you can get, the better.

100 hours is still good. ;)

Stick with school, and yes, getting a job now sucks.
