@manmadegod: I doubt it will get evolved. I think Omanyte has been the prevailing symbol, and it would probably only evolve by accident. Most evolutions have been cancelled; so, unless it's a concerted effort, I think it will forever be Omanyte.

I also don't think that Destiny actually has as much influence as people think they do. I mean, if they have enough power to fuck up the voting, then they have enough power to keep it on democracy 100% of the time, to continually fuck things up. I think it's paranoia.
Yeah, I was discussing this exact topic elsewhere earlier today. It's actually all more akin to the TPP mythology than reality. The same way in which we have invented names and deities, so too have people made more of the Destiny situation. I think it's oddly appropriate.
Not to get too much into it, but this really just started because Destiny was a big fan of the stream. And he thought it'd be fun to try to influence it. Then people sent him hate for successfully doing so. After that, he just decided to encourage what some trolls had already wanted: to release Bird Jesus. Yet, after the initial incident, he didn't have any real influence. It was simply our normal trolls using him as an easy excuse. And people built him up into this big terrorist and hateful monster who could attack even while he was sleeping. ha. It's really quite amusing that the stream seemed to want an enemy, and when given an opportunity, they latched onto it.
At this point, he has no more influence than any other trying to troll the stream, and for many, that's just part of the stream's dynamic. That push and pull of influence for progress and chaos.
Sounds like the PC will never need to be seen again so that's good. Just need to teach CUT to someone right?
Not necessarily. We can navigate the rest of the game without Cut if necessary. It's a little tougher, but possible.
Some people want to revive Omanyte and thus use the PC again, but I have a feeling people will reconsider. Right now, we can beat the game with this team.
