This would be a smart move by nintendo if it's true. I think the Vita has more chance at being successful in the market and by not having a dual stick the 3DS is possibly losing games that a 3rd party would publish cross platform.

If you (like me) happen to be a subscriber to fellow Giantbomb member CraigAA's youtube channel or if you follow him here on Giantbomb, then you might be aware that his reviews were more or less overwhelmed by haters and/or trolls following a misunderstanding on Users Protomessiah's review of Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Well, because my video review of Deus Ex: Human Revolution was uploaded as a response to Craig's -- some witless idiots thought it would be funny to go ahead and troll on my written review of it (meaning DISLIKING it). How do i know this? Well, it didn't have a single dislike until the misunderstanding started and Craig stared a blog about it and whenever i delete and upload it again, i get six to eight dislikes in a matter of a few hours. This baffles me beyond belief -- Giantbomb is a nice community, and one that's not supposed to be overwhelmed by dorky trolls who make a living out of being a jerk, clearly i was mistaken. What's even weirder is the fact that i merely made my video review as a response to Craig's, so why anyone would hate Craig so much that they even hate reviews that have even the slightest connection to Craig's is beyond me. People are weird i guess.

This is very confusing. What is the misunderstanding? And how are video reviews a response to anything? I'm so confused. Nothing in these video's / written reviews seems to make any connection to the other items. Shouldn't a response address someone or something?

EA/Bioware should shelve this IP the way Eidos did with Deus Ex after Invisible War. Talking about Dragon Age 3 feels like a huge slap in the face...let the dead rest. You killed the franchise, congratulations. Lets not torture the fans of the first game anymore, ok?

TL;DR Fuck Dragon Age.

@Metal_Mills:

I would guess this means that the online experience will only be good for a short time. (for me) Once DLC starts landing the people without the maps will get kicked and otherwise be inconvenienced if they do not buy. I rarely stick with a game longer than a month so all this means is that if I get into this game late, like I did with Transformers War for Cybertron, I'm not likely to put anytime into the game because the online MP component is not fun. (extra maps and characters were added so playing online resulted in getting kicked out of games between rounds all the time)

DLC is basically being turned into a subscription service of sorts so that if you don't have it going forward you're gimped or otherwise unlikely to enjoy the experience. Isn't it worth $15 measly dollars not to worry about getting kicked anymore? It's only $15. See wasn't that better? Ok now next month we have another $15 add on pack, you're going to want that one too so we'll talk to you a little later ok?

I hate DLC for the most part. I feel like you're buying in the blind and if it's a total POS then you're screwed. I've started watching "Let's Play" clips on youtube of the DLC and I don't find myself itching to play because it's just silly little side quests that once you've watched someone else play then what is the point in doing that yourself? But if you don't watch someone else play them then how do you know if they are any good? I think for $5 I'd try some DLC but everything seems to be shooting for $10-$15 which to me seems like a huge rip off.

I do like the whole $10 for the LA Noire DLC idea, I'd like to see more of that. But then again you don't know what you're getting. If they'd give you an idea of what was planned that might help.

This is a pretty sweet deal so close to launch. I'm tempted to pick it up by my PC is basically the required minimum, 9600gt instead of 8800...so worse? I started playing it on the 360 via a redbox rental so I think I want to wait until I can find it less on the 360 and finish it there on the first playthrough.

I wish they offered this deal before I started playing it on the 360...don't feel like starting over at this point.

Plus those extra weapons are silly. I want to play stealth and hack and melee so the shotgun and sniper aren't good for that. I'd rather they give me a visual improvement for the melee attacks and a different looking costume for all the sneaking I'm going to be doing...

Gamestop is not price competitive in the market. Toys R Us, Kmart, Amazon, everyone offers better prices and a variety of benefits for using them. Going into the other stores does not make me want to kill myself as well. Gamestop is like the Blockbuster of game stores. Everything is better than walking into those stores.

Amazon usually has a few bucks off the game, like $56.99 for new releases, then discount coupons for future purchases, it's all too easy to get new releases with exclusive content for $40 a pop delivered to my house the day after launch. (prime) compared to going into that store and standing in line to pay upwards of $65 after tax after. Plus the people inside teh stores might as well be marketing employs for various game companies for how much spam comes out of their mouth.

I remember arguing with someone about their return policy on a stearing wheel. The reciept had the policy clearly printed, 7 days, and they refused repeatedly before giving in and accepting it. I don't appreciate that kind of attitude towards me so i wont' spend any more money there.

Oh now I'm pissed off. When I pre-ordered MW2 from them (no idea why I did that) I decided to cancel that pre-order because amazon bitch slapped your full retail price offer with a $20 off coupon. So I called the store when I had chosen to pick up. Oh we don't do that over the phone you have to come in...ok...now i'm pissed. I go in and it takes me 15 min to get the register because they're swamped with trade in bs. Don't waste my motherfucking time.

Why is Square just sucking GameStop's dick on this one? GS physically violated new product and altered its contents before selling it to the consumer. I can't believe any publisher would be okay with this, let alone apologize for it afterwards!

It may look like this but Square is really just handing Gamestop the rope and letting them hang themselves. Gamers will be appalled by this fact and to keep repeating it is more effective than attacking them. Gamestop has every right to remove content from our game before selling it you. Gamestop is absolutely able to take things out of the game before selling it to you. Gamestop can sell you an opened game with stuff missing if they want. Gamestop can absolutely rip off their own customers. Say it enough and people realize Gamestop IS ripping off it's own customers.

Man. I hope that Tracer Tong mission is at all worthwhile.

I'm assuming this is Bonus DLC you get for pre-ordering from Gamestop? I went looking but can't find a lot of info about Pre-order dlc for this game.

Tell your COD friends, co-workers, and moms, dads, and grandmas everywhere not to purchase video games at Gamestop.

You should tell them where to shop instead. Instead of talking about why Gamestop is bad, tell them why Amazon is awesome! Lower prices, release day shipping for $1, instant credits toward futures purchases, price match guarantee (Amazon gives you the best possible deal no matter when you pre-ordered!), amazon trade in program with free shipping, you can list your game straight on amazon and sell it there. Gaming at Amazon is awesome. If you have to get something today try redbox, then order it from amazon. That day or 2 you get to play the game should hold you over until the game arrives and you're still miles ahead of shopping elsehwhere.

@Tumbler: I'd prefer to buy something unopened, but you are correct, the true shady act was removing of something. I'm curious if there can be any legal action taken by the people who bought the game with the coupon removed. That's value they were supposedly paying for, that GameStop removed. Just as you said, I'd be upset if a toy that said batteries included, didn't come with batteries. That would be value being taken away from me.

I prefer not to shop at that place for a variety of reasons. I've never run into the buying something used for new prices but that would irk me as well. The best thing to come out of all this will be the public awareness of this store's policy to screw paying customers. I doubt there will be any legal battle going forward, the retailer/publisher relationship is more important than winning a battle in court for the game publisher. I think it's more important for the public to report stuff like this and make it common knowledge. This has caught the attention of a lot of folks and in that respect we're getting more "benefit" as consumers out of this shit storm than we ever could have hoped if gamestop has simply sold the game as is and chewed out Square behind the scenes.

People may continue to shop there but everyone is now well aware that when you buy Gamestop games, you're buying stuff they have "adjusted".
