I'd like STO a bit more if the ground combat controls weren't horrible, and AI away team member pathfinding weren't so atrocious. Actually, it'd be a decent game if they just got rid of the ground combat all together.
Maybe, though probably not. Too many games out in the January/February season I want to play (Bayonetta, White Knight Chronicles, FFXIII), and I'll probably have forgotten about STO after I'm done with them.
" I WANT TO PLAY THAT DAMN GAME Also, I bet that 3/4s of the people complaining about DI haven't read the damn poem. If anything, the game helps out by making people much more interested in reading the poem; sure, half of them will say "What the fuck, this isn't what I signed up for," but the other half will have been introduced to a classic they will never have read in the first place. Oh and P.S The Divine Comedy as a whole is up their with my favorite pieces of literature of all time. "
Ironically, the article that went with that Penny Arcade comic was exactly that: that if pretending to be a 14 year-old's wet dream will get him to be interested in a classic piece of literature, so be it. That's an idea I can support.
That said, it still doesn't mean I can't find the game using the name pretty annoying.
