There are people who still love and play games from 20 years ago. Hell, G4 is beating everyone over the head with Wiebe and the original arcade Donkey Kong this week. No matter how well motion sensing does, there will still be a market for controller-based "core" games, so I don't see how gaming as we know it will completely cease to exist five or even ten years from now.

I understand why a lot of people don't like Gamestop/EB. I've run into some employees who were just complete dicks and haven't been back to those particular stores. I purchase most of my games at the other EB Games close to me, and they have pretty good, knowledgable employees. I've had some really good conversations with the guys there.

The last one I played was Underground.I don't see why they need a skateboard peripheral. The only people who will probably be vaguely interested in it are the casual Wii players who buy every peripheral Nintendo puts out. So if Tony Hawk feels like he absolutely needs a peripheral, why not just keep it on the Wii and try to use the balance board that a lot of people already ...

I don't remember what my first game ever was. It would have been something on my friend's NES or Genesis. Those early gaming memories in his basement are a bit of a blur. A bunch of early DOS experiences are a blur as well.I clearly remember the first console and game I got, though. SNES with Donkey Kong Country for Christmas one year.

Friday because it's the only weekday I don't have class. Long weekend every weekend!
