• Another great CD from LCD Soundsystem, great from beginning to end.
• There is no song as jaw-droppingly brilliant as "All My Friends", but it doesn't have to be when it's filled with quality songs like "Dance Yrself Clean", "All I Want", "Pow Pow", "I Can Change", and "Home".

Watching  

• I really have no clue how I've missed this amazing show, the comedy is right up my alley in being completely stupid and pointless
• When I get a job over the summer again, I'll have to buy all the DVD's

Playing

• I rented SFIV, decided to give this one a try for the long haul, traded in GoW III and payed 7 bucks at gamestop for it, worth it.
• I've managed to win a couple of bouts online, I've found myself gravitating towards Cody a lot, which at first made me think that I liked a character not many people expected. Unfortunately, it turns out that Cody has turned into "the new Ken".

• Real Life 

  Exams this week in Calculus and in Philosophy. I got an A in Art and an A in Psychology. Good semester so far.

• Don't go to sonic
• Food's not bad, staff is terrible

My local radio channel gave out tickets to a sold out phoenix show tonight. I already had tickets, but now I'm invited to see an acoustic show before the main deal. Awesome. I promise to come back with something later.

General hints: if you look on the game pages that all of these quests are based upon, you should find 99% of what you need(#5 of Heart of The Tiger is a bit harder, but you should be able to find it with the hints)

The One Free Man  

• is an enigmatic character seen throughout Valve's biggest franchise of games. 
•  A person named after a letter.    
•  The mysterious man in every Half-Life game.    
• The first voice you'll hear in Half-Life 2

• is an organisation that has a name made of the darkest colour and apparently the translation of "table" in Portuguese and Spanish. 
•  Dark plateau    
•  Location of the first Half-Life and the spin-offs. Referenced in Portal's popular credits song.    
• Maybe _____ _______, That was a joke, HA HA, FAT CHANCE

• is, well, you'll have to look up this franchise's first game on GB and look for aliens.
•  Former slaves, capable of shooting green lightning.    
•  You may recall this species referring to Gordon as, in the title, "The One Free Man." In Half-Life 2 you could find a secret one of these in a sewer during a travel segment.    
• Friendly aliens in the Half-Life 2 series

• is a stereotype that also applies to characters like Chrono or the main characters in Persona; people who don't talk much. 
•  Because some people just aren’t very talkative.    
•  The definition of what Gordon Freeman is in every Half-Life. The result of Alyx having to converse with herself.    
• Yo , you sure are quiet, and you sure are the main character

• is something often used by that series of games' main character frequently as a melee weapon. Somewhat like a mix between a steel pipe and a wrench  
•    Use it to smash open those pesky crates.  
•  The mainstay in any Half-Life game. Barney tosses you one in Half-Life 2.    
• Chances are, if you've seen a picture of Freeman, he's holding this.

Toasty!  

• is a big-name fighting game character who likes to yell "Get over here!" and burn people up. Also  a kind of animal that stings people. 
•  Definitely got a sting in his tail.    
•  "Get over here!"    
• Yellow Ninja

• think Smash Bros Brawl, the new character who was a fairy. Put "The" at the beginning for profit. 
•  It’s a long way down there.    
•  On some Mortal Kombat levels you may uppercut them and they'll fall into one of these. Also in the movie "300" where he screams, "This is Sparta!"    
• As Kid Rock would say  In Bawitaba: "Get in ___ ___ and try to love someone!"

• should be obvious if you got 1; think of what he does to make people catch fire and such, or anyone else in his game.  
•  Not a flesh wound.    
•  "Finish him!"    
• Special movements at the end of fights can grant you these fatal blows

• is what would be in 2, very painful to fall on. MegaMan dies from one hit from these. 
•  Pointy.    
•  Usually at the bottom to the answer for #2. In the Mortal Kombat movie, the villain died at the end of movie by landing on these.    
• Punk rockers like their hair like this

• is related to the title of the quest. Look for the person related to that, perhaps in the credits of that game. It may just say who is relevant there. 
•   This person’s nickname is staring you in the face.    
•   The man who pops up at the bottom of the screen and yells "Toasty!" Search the title... 
• search the quest title.

A Battle In Active Time  

• is seen in Final Fantasy IX's cover art and there's even a "chronicles" of it. Should be fairly obvious. 
•  Like a diamond but not quite.    
•  An object in the sub-title of a few Final Fantasy games. Women love objects such as these.    
• ______ Meth is one of the worst drugs you can do

• is a character who's always in Square's main line of games, usually riding on 4. 
•  So many appearances!    
•  There's a character named this in every game of the franchise.  
• Psycho ___ Vicious was a popular wrestler 

• a type of animal that also appears in Square's main line of games, you can usually ride these. In FFVII you raced them. 
•  Saddle up and ride these things.    
•  You can raise and ride these in the overworld in a game such as Final Fantasy 7. Or you can race them.    
• I kinda looks like a bird

• think of a blimp, but more medieval style. 
•  Sky boat.    
•  Nearing the end of your experience you will usually receive one to travel the overworld with. In FFX you fight a boss on top of one.    
• it's like an airplane... or a battleship...

• is kinda funny. Shemales are this, sounds similar to android. 
•  Gender ambiguity.      
•  Term for a man that resembles a girl. I had trouble with this, so just pick a Final Fantasy and look at the related concepts.    
• A man that looks like a woman. On the concepts of most FF protagonists pages.

Get Equipped With...  

• is fairly obvious. Samus has something like this, but it's specific to Mega Man.  
•  A weapon with a name not unlike the game it’s from.    
•  A defining feature of Mega Man. The particular name for Mega Man's, and not just a general description. It's two words, not one.    
• 
  

• is the man with the eyebrows and is also a doctor, makes lots of 3.
•  That mad scientist!    
•  Similar to Eggman in Sonic, Mega Man has this persistant villain.    

• is an enemy of MegaMan - but a common one. The 'hard hat with eyes' hint is also extremely helpful. It's also a three-letter word, begins with M. Was also in Guts Man's stage in MM1, if that helps, near the beginning. 
•  Note the green cross on its head.    
•  The little common-type enemies with helmets seen in many Mega Man games.    

• is a general term, very general. "LIKE A _ _ _ _" Not too difficult when you realise how cliché it is. 
•  The tough guys at the end of a level.    
•  You fight through 8 levels of Mega Man to fight these at the end of each one. Remember that the answer is in plural form.    

• is a little harder - go to MegaMan 1's concept page and look down the list, look for the funnier ones. It's a pretty well-known aspect of that game's packaging.  
•  Not what it says on the tin.      
•  The concept that is remembered from the original Mega Man, and now played upon by Mega Man 9 and 10. The idea that you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover.    
• this isn't what I thought it was

Heart of The Tiger

• cat people is not far off. What if cats were sentient and took Command of some Wings? 
•  Massive cat people!    
•  Man these guys are killers, full of so much wrath.    

• is indeed like Luke Skywalker. They look alike, at least. 
•  He doesn’t play by the rules.    
•  A character played by a guy who does voice work these days though he's probably more famous for his star role in a certain trilogy. Might wanna look at page 2 of the stuff hes done.     

• is general. Think what spaceships need to sustain fire, search for that. 
•  Your guard won’t be down forever.    
•  When these things run out in a game it kinda sucks cause on harder difficulties you usually die, luckily they start working again pretty quickly, almost as fast as wolverines healing.     
• Halo took this concept and changed Health meters for every FPS after it.

• is a type of cutscene that is now extinct, but was used extensively with games like Night Trap! and Sewer Shark.  
•  Complete movement movie.    
•  They were always terrible but sometimes amusing and often featured in many older games, especially the cnc titles which were still doing them even in the last few recent games.     

• think Back to the Future, think the villain, think the actor, then search for that. 
•  The character he plays is nuts!      
•   He was in all three back to the future movies.  Everyone's known someone like his character in school at some point, chances are you weren't his friend. 
• Search for the name of the ball that Tom Hanks made friends with in "Cast Away".. it should be within the search

So my college held a little music festival that featured many different styles and genre's from rap to folk/jazz, but I was pleased that there was an emphasis on hiring indy talent from around the nation. This included two major acts that probably would tour around the Virginia area(Ra Ra Riot), and an act that I thought would never play a show in Virginia(No Age). Being a small time festival, there was a lot of stuff that I've never really heard of before, but they were pleasant surprises. There were also a handful of crap local bands, but I'll skip over that stuff.
