I think the answer is so clear where Sony is heading with the next Playstation.. Perhaps I'm wrong but it's fun to think about. I think Sony has their secret weapon in place. If you look at the ps3 it was clearly blue ray that would be the big selling point for the console. The ps2 was dvd format. The ps1 was the disk format that was so much cheaper to produce. Sony has shown they are good with leading the market with the media type. Microsoft has showed they lead the way with software. Nintendo is and always will be innovation they are not afraid of risk with the way you play a game. The big news for Sony has already been in front. SONY BUYS GAIKAI

Yeah remember this head line. This is the ps4 and what it will be. Look at playstation plus. Sony offers you a handful of tittles for a membership fee. The only downside is the download and taking up space on your hdd. What if Sony was to offer you an online service that works like Netflix but with video games. I would easily drop a monthly fee for something like that. Gaikai could easily be the streaming service that could work like netflix but for video games. Isn't this what gamers really want a library of games at their hands with out having to move from your couch with the ability to download or instant stream? We have already been heading that way with the ease of downloading day one titles from the ps store. I'm not sure what Sony will do with gaikai but I think that will be Sony's secret weapon for the ps4. Come on Sony let's see what you got. I'm ready to be excited.
