New Old Music and Old New Games

So I'm at that point in my life where I don't have money consistently, so I'm going through a pretty stacked backlog, at least in terms of JRPGs. I've got FFXII, FFX, FFX-2, Xenogears, Xenosaga, Vagrant Story, FFVII, Wild Arms 3, and about 6-7 other games I feel I need to work through, sometime soon. My goal is to finish them all before Christmas of next year, which I'm pretty sure won't happen, but hey, goals are fun right? But while I'm working through that 1000 hour backlog, I'm also trying to work through a pretty intense backlog of music, most of which isn't even recent. I'm just starting to really dip my toes into post-punk and shoegaze for the first time and it's probably one of the most exciting forays into a new (to me) genre of music recently. Also trying to go through my pretty considerable post-rock backlog, but I kinda need a break from that. Went on a tear with post-rock for about a year straight, with barely any other genre being played. I consider myself post-post-rock at this point (tee hee). Hopefully, by the end of this or next month I'll have FFXII done and maybe have started up FFX, as well as worked through Midnight Brown - Deadly Electric (great stuff by the way Jeff & co., LNS goes hard yo), The Feelies - Crazy Rhythms and Sad Lovers and Giants - In the Breeze.

So yeah, wish me luck.
